Can we talk about the importance of aftercare?
On one hand, you get to be there for your partner. You get to laugh, be silly, clean each other up, and enjoy an intimate moment as you both come down from the rush of pleasure.
On the other hand, you get to make sure a scene wasn't too rough or that if it was you can talk about the good and the bad parts. What to keep and what to abolish. You get to hold your partner (Dom or sub, aftercare goes both ways!!) and tell them that they were perfect. That they're enough. That, ultimately, you feel safe with them.
You get to reassure the other and be comforted yourself.
Just, intimacy comes in many forms. Sex is one, aftercare is another.
