nico - oh boy is he laughing 😭 he’s definitely concerned as he tries to help you up but falls on his ass. you’re both on the ice cackling at each other and how out of balance you both are ! gives you his arm to steady yourself and it ends in you both acting like penguins on ice. gives you a little kiss on your forehead and squishes your cheeks bc you may be a klutz but you’re his klutz !!

taki - he’s…not laughing at you, i promise!! it’s just the way you fell was incredibly funny and you laugh at him when he defies all expectations of physics 😭 you guys opt to hold hands with each other but it’s doesn’t work as well as you hoped… you end up giving up on ice staking entirely after falling 5 times with taki going down with you !! tells you it’s okay and you end up sharing cocoa together :((

jo - immediately concerned that you fall so often but finds it funny bc you arranged the date…and you have the balance of a leaf :(( he bursts out giggling tho and proceeds to *purposely* fall to sympathize with you! 😭 he’s so cute tho and he really does try to help you!! like nico, gives you kisses all over your face and asks if he should kiss any places you hurt 🫶🏼 (pls i need kisses from jo) he also gets you some cocoa and holds your hand &lt;33

k - lowkey teases you when you fall right as you step on the ice !! gives you his arm to hold on to and steady yourself on ! also thinks you’re cute when you’re giggling at how much of a klutz you are 😭🫶🏼 puts! his! hand! on! your! waist! steadies you by holding you waist, making sure you’re fully upright (i love him sm)

ej - i feel like he goes into instant leader mode!! his eyebrows are creased and he’s next to you asking all sorts of questions. also believes that you can just hold onto him and gives you his arm to hold, or his hand, or his jacket! 😭 he’s chuckling to himself as you wobble and then fall right back down again! holds you close to his side and you guys just skate slowly together :(( thinks it’s very kdrama-esque to kiss in the middle of the rink 🫶🏼 (double points if you have to tiptoe in your skates)

maki - he’s both laughing and concerned for you! he wanted to take you roller skating in the summer but seeing your balance issues…he immediately decided he wouldn’t :(( i mean, your safety is important!! on the ground laughing and helps you up, offers to hold your waist behind you as you try to skate again 🫶🏼 don’t worry, once you both are home, he puts on a show and makes you your favorite dessert!

fuma - he can do anything and everything atp so i think he would start teaching you how to balance yourself and how to gain momentum to start moving on the ice!! lowkey explains it in very simple terms but gets the point across 🫶🏼 puts his entire arm around your torso and you guys skate together in sync - albeit a little slow :(( kisses your cheeks when you make one circle around the rink and repeatedly says he loves you (he’s so sweet fr idc he’s a standard)

yuma - this is based on nothing but i think he’d be the type to teach you as well!! he might not know a lot about skating but he knows a lot about balance and control so he helps you stand up! takes it in steps and explains it similar to a dance choreography- kisses your forehead after every step and spins you in happiness 🤭 dips you and gives you an even better kiss :(( (stop i love him sm this is making me blush)

harua - i feel like he’s secretly good at surprising things…but he would immediately be like “okay so you place your feet like so”!! probably incredibly patient with you too :(( if you end up sad, he’ll probably be sad with you. teaches you to move around and i see him as the type to be lowkey romantic so he would spin you around! (this is too cute i’m giggling thinking abt this🤭)

**i do want to point out that all of them would probably check for any signs of you being hurt by the ice or if you’re in any immediate pain, hence why i didn’t add that into every member!!

“why are you getting all pretty? you going somewhere?” the tired husky voice of your boyfriend makes a smile start to form on your lips. gunwook had been sleeping peacefully until 2 minutes ago, hugging your pillow to his chest, still tangled under the sheets. you wished you could’ve stayed in bed with him, but you had a meeting early in the morning.

“just a work meeting. wish i could’ve slept in with you, wook.” you glanced up at him apologetically through the mirror, frowning at his sleepy pout and messy hair.

“not fair…”

“i know, baby. but i’ll be back in 2 hours and then we can cuddle.” you assured him, finishing the last touches on your makeup and hair. you turned around to face gunwook properly, ruffling his bed head as you stood up.

“can’t you just stay?” gunwook asked, following you to your closet like a lost puppy.

“it’s an important meeting…” you tried your best to stay firm and not let your boyfriend have so much affect over you. but it was hard, especially when he started planting small kisses on your neck as you sifted through your hangers to find a dress. you felt a small nip land to the dip in your shoulder and neck and you gasped.

“gunwook!” you hadn’t realized he was this clingy this morning. he didn’t stop despite your reaction, pressing a softer kiss over the spot he had nibbled. you willed yourself to not get too focused on his lips on your skin, to instead figure out what you were going to wear to your meeting. but he made it so hard to even remember why you were trying to get up in the first place.

“wouldn’t you rather just stay here? with me? and bulbasaur?” he pleaded, pressing a kiss to your neck between each word. you smiled at the mention of his bulbasaur plush that you had gotten for his birthday— he slept with it every night, opting to cuddle it when you couldn’t sleep with him.

you gripped the side of a navy blue dress, hanging on your last thread, gunwook seconds away from snapping it. was the meeting more important than your clingy boyfriend? did you actually want to spend the morning in a room with a bunch of grumpy middle-aged men when you could be cuddling with your boyfriend?

“you’re lucky you’re cute in the morning…” you sighed, dropping your hand from the dress, and your boyfriend knew he had won. you could feel his victorious smile against your neck as he pressed one last kiss behind your ear. and then he started steering you towards the bed until you both fell onto the soft mattress, him laying on top of you. he nuzzled his face in your chest and closed his eyes, completely content now that he was sure he had you for the entire morning.

you looked at his sleepy face, dark hair falling over his eyes, cheeks dotted with rosy stains, cherry lips formed into the most beautiful smile. you brushed his bangs away from his face, feeling his warm skin underneath the palm of your hand. god, he took your breath away even when he wasn’t doing anything.

“since you made me miss my morning meeting, at least give me a kiss.” you nudged his chin with your hand, and he opened one eye to look up at you. he didn’t waste time after hearing your request, quickly picking himself up to hover over you and press his soft lips to yours. he sighed, finally being able to taste your lip gloss that he had watched you apply minutes ago. he had been tempted to steal a kiss from you then as well, but he was considerate enough to not ruin your makeup until he was sure you were his for the morning.

gunwook’s lips always felt like pure bliss against yours. the weight of his body on top of you was like a weighted blanket, and you were determined to not move from the position for at least another hour. gunwook was right, you would always much rather spend the morning with him… and bulbasaur.

the rays of the sun poked through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room, and wrapping around both of you in a gentle embrace. your eyelashes fluttered open as you gradually emerged from the embrace of slumber. beside you, mingi’s grip tightened around your waist, when he sensed your waking movements. a contented sigh escaped your lips as you stretched your limbs.

“good morning.” his voice, thick with sleep, caressed your ear as his chin found its place on your shoulder, his breath tickling the sensitive skin of your neck. you turned your head to meet his gaze, your eyes locking in a wordless exchange of your newfound intimacy.

“good morning, baby.” you whispered in response. there was a softness in your voice that carried the tenderness that had blossomed between you from the night before.

you intertwined your fingers with his, relishing the sensation of his skin against yours. he leaned in to press a tender kiss against your lips. “did you sleep well, babe?” he asked you, releasing his hands from your hold, and moving his fingers towards the curve of your waist.

you tilt your head slightly, allowing his lips to brush against your skin. “yes, i did. slept like a baby.” you admitted.

“that’s good,” he chuckled, his laugh echoing like a melody around the quiet room. “didn’t want to make you uncomfortable.”

with a chuckle of your own, you turn to face him fully. “why would i be uncomfortable with you in my bed, mingi?” your voice was laced with a teasing undertone that he then adopted.

“well, i don’t know,” he began, “i’ve been told that i snore and hog the blankets.”

“you share a bed with other people?” you cock your eyebrows in mock concern.

“just the boys.”

“right, the boys.”

the two of you fell into a comfortable silence, basking in the warmth of your bodies. “i’m glad i woke up next to you,” your boyfriend whispered.

FOGGY — PART ONE ( PART TWO HERE )

SEPTEMBER 15, 1997. 10:30 a.m

HE HAD UNDENIABLE CHARMS, and was undeniably infatuated with you. Heeseung was always known as the cool, kind guy that all teachers and students liked at your old school. Even through college, with a new school, people still loved him. While he loved you.

YOU LIKED THE GLOOM, the chilly, foggy gloom. Having the habit of capturing every moment with your big camera, about half of the photos you had taken were of the weather, dark, greyish palettes and gloomy sceneries. (With the other half being photos of Heeseung)

"Wait! Can you pull over? It looks amazing here!" You exclaimed. "Y/n, it's raining and it's gonna get dark soon.. just don't get out of the car at least?" he pleaded.

"Yeah, whatever-oh my god, it's gorgeous!" Already taking out your bulky camera, you snapped shots of the gloomy weather.

While he was distracted, you turned to snap a few quick shots of your boyfriend. The grey weather and the dark colour made suited comforting vibe he already put on-all together oh, so soft like a sweater made out of perfect boyfriend material.

"Hey!." he said, chuckling at your cuteness as you continue to zoom in and take photos of his neck, eyes and hands. "You better not be zooming in!"

Instead of a response, you gave him a giggle. The car fills with cute giggles of you two being all lovey-dovey.

"Y/n.. it's getting really foggy out. We should go home quick."

"You're right. But be careful I wouldn't want the fog to get in the way."

SOMETHING YOU LOVED ABOUT THE GLOOM-was just the feeling. The dark colours, the cold temperature, the cool weather - all was something you absolutely loved.

As you sat in the car with Heeseung driving, you admired the way he looked. Holding the steering wheel in a relaxed manner and singing lowly to a soft tune, his black t-shirt suiting the beautiful weather.

"Honey?" You interrupted.

"Hm?"

"If you lost a good chunk of your memory, do you think you'd still remember me?" He scoffs, "If my memory wasn't as foggy as this weather then yeah.. but it'll all come down to the severity of my memory loss."

You frown at the thought of you forgetting him or him forgetting you. How could you lose to the 2 precious years you'd spent with him? Your look was evident to heeseung so he quickly reminded,

"But if one of us forget each other, promise me we both would do our best to capture our love again?" He adds again.

You smile at him, "I promise."

You both cherish the moment as you interlock your fingers together. Unbeknownst to you, the fate of your heart would be in undeniable pain because of the next few seconds.

The opposite car drives insanely fast towards you as Heeseung tries to drive away. The other vehicle however-smashes his car to yours. The vehicles crash into each other and your side takes a terrible hit. Warm blood gushed out of you as your hands stay interlocked with Heeseungs.

The sight was terrifying, three adults barely visible and bloody, the cars collided roughly, the fire around the cars-worst of all, the deafening scream from Heeseung as he stays in disbelief at the moment.

"Y/N!!" He yells, only calming down when he's a little closer to you. "Please, don't give up.. I'm here, l'm right here!" He barely says through his sobs.

The scene looks horrifying as he witnesses the red wound on your forehead, blood coming out of your side as he takes off his jacket and wraps it around your scars to cover the blood.

"Heeseung.. I'll." Although not finishing, he continues to cry harder at your weak words. "I'll always remember you."

Your body falls. Completely tired and lifeless.

"Y/N?? Y/N! Y/N!!" He screams again as the policemen hold him back and carry you into the ambulance.

The doctors try to bring him into a separate ambulance to treat his wounds as well, but to no avail. He continues saying out your name and crying as the ambulances drive off, in your fragile state.

OCTOBER 19, 1997. 10:30 a.m

HE NEVER KNEW HE'D BE HERE, outside a hospital room, waiting anxiously for any updates on his own partner.

It had been a month since the incident and it left you in terrible injuries, taking long to heal, even a two-week coma. So here he was, waiting outside your hospital room while biting his lip and holding a bunch of flowers and gifts as the time went agonisingly slow.

When the doctors finally called him to come in, he was met with your poor body lying down in a bed, a cast on your right leg and arm, head bandaged with your eyes cluelessly wandering around the room.

"Y/n!" He sighed in relief as he went up to hug you. The room was empty, the nurses and doctors giving you two privacy.

"I missed you so much." He sat down on the chair near your bed which was hunched up so your back was slightly upwards and set the gifts on a table.

Smiling and hugging him back, you giggled at his excitement. "Are you doing ok? Are you still in pain?"

Biting the inside of your lip, you breathe out. “I’m better now! I haven’t used the wheelchair yet, but I’m not in too much pain.” He sighs in relief. “I still get usual headaches.”

Pursing his lips, he remembers the horror of seeing the blood from your head just a month ago. "That's good.. I missed you so much in the last month, I'm so glad you're ok."

“That’s so nice.. but who are you?"

accidentally tickling you + the need to keep doing it.

you know that clip of nico just touching the exposed skin through fuma’s ripped jeans? and fuma getting ticklish because of it and stopping nicholas’s hands, but nico’s hand keeps gravitating back to it? i feel like nico would do this with you. initially, it’s usually just him gently grazing the skin on your arm or neck or knees with his nails or fingertips. the moment you squirm away, something in nico’s brain tells him that he needs to keep touching that same spot unless you really tell him to stop (you usually don’t). he also squeezes your leg or thigh just to make you jump. and then commences the game of you trying to catch nico’s hands before they can touch you again but still playing along because of course you will. you always have.

playful attacks when you’re teasing him.

there’s a video of nico just like, fake tickle attacking gaku during one of the &audition episodes that i just saw recently and my first thought was just nicholas going for your waist whenever you tease him for something. you tease him a lot whenever you get the chance because he, of course, does the exact same to you. so it’s no surprise to you anymore when you just kind of quickly scoot away after teasing him because you know what’s coming, and sure enough, nico’s hands just shoot quickly towards your waist after you like, talk about an embarrassing moment he had.

it used to just be something he had to decide to do (he knew whatever you were saying was a joke so that was his choice to retaliate) but at some point it just became second nature for him to start wiggling his fingers towards your sides. is it because he’s just gotten used to it? or is it because his hands know his need to hear your laugh? you may never know. nico also finds joy when he just brings his hands relatively near you and your giggles just fall out of your laugh without him even touching you.

feeding you.

with nico looking as if he would be a tsundere, the way he holds out food to the members without looking is so characteristic of that. there’s a couple of clips of him feeding harua by just holding out ice cream or tanghulu to his mouth without even looking. something about that melts my heart because it’s like he wants people not to make a big deal but he’s just too caring for me to ignore.

nico does the same thing to you. just holding his drink up to your lips if he knows you like his drink better than your own. holding up food combinations he wants you to try (like when he fed harua the seaweed) and patiently waiting for your opinion. if you can’t decide which dish you want to order, he would order both and let you pick which one you would like better. and of course, cooking you sausage wherever and whenever you want.

poking your cheek + tapping your chin.

i’ve seen nico do this a lot to euijoo and taki (especially in the scent of you behind). it seems to be his way of teasing but with affection, because he had done it after reviewing their scenes in the mv. i think it’s his way of saying you did well, i’m proud of you, and i think you’re absolutely adorable, but i’m gonna do this little cat scratch thing because i’m too shy to actually tell you (so lino-coded i love this).

nico will just randomly tap underneath your chin or poke your cheek, usually when it comes to times when you’re being complimented or getting flustered. he thinks you’re adorable with the way you suddenly can’t make eye contact and can only let out a stuttering ‘thank you’ and so he just has the sudden urge to make it worse by doing the whole underside of the chin gentle tap with his fingertip or knuckle.

making random sounds to get your attention.

i’m sure we mostly all know about nico’s “ooh sexy joo” clip, and if you don’t, you’ll probably find out soon. but something tells me that the way he hypes up euijoo and the sounds he makes along with it translates to you as well. a lot of times, when he’s bored and you’re not paying attention to him he just starts making those ‘oooooo’ sounds that he was making during their photoshoot behind. it’s kind of difficult to ignore the fake ghost sounds your best friend is making but it’s come to the point that if he isn’t making these sounds when he wants your attention, then something’s wrong and he’s probably jealous of someone grabbing your attention instead of him.

it’s not rare for you to be trying to finish an assignment at your desk with nico just sprawled out on your bed, limbs hanging off the sides of your mattress. when he senses you’re almost done, nico starts to make these sounds or just starts to hum your favorite song unconsciously, reaching over to you to play with your free arm or your hair, hoping that it’ll help speed up your progress on your work. spoiler alert: it doesn’t, but you don’t have the heart to tell him otherwise.

his tired clinginess in the morning.

just blank nico in the morning. tired baby will just go up to wherever you are, cooking, getting ready, brushing your teeth, whatever. he would just go up to you and cling close as he’s waking up, not with arms around you or anything but just standing with his chest pressed to the back of one of your shoulders as he watches what you’re doing, eyes unfocused and head slightly dipped towards you - he might not be a morning person but being around you makes it better.

sometimes you get surprised despite getting used to this habit because one moment, you’re in the kitchen pouring milk into your cereal. when your turn back from the fridge after putting the carton away, nico’s just standing silently behind you, not reacting to the little laugh you let out at your surprise like he usually would (he loves your laugh). instead, you simply take a spoon and drop it into your bowl as nicholas just brings his body close to yours and lightly presses his chest against your back. he watches you eat over your shoulder, simply opening his mouth when you bring up the spoon to it, and nuzzles his head into your neck as he chews, basking in the little pats you give to the side of his head and face.

hiding his face from or behind you.

as intimidating as our lovely boy can look, nico is just a shy baby when it comes to being teased or excessively complimented. you love how he gets when this happens and so sometimes you purposely praise him over and over again just to get him flustered. at these times, nicholas just hides his face from you so that you can only see his eyes (like in the ‘our diary - acrobatic’ video when k said it was his turn to do the last challenge and he hid his face behind the mats). the giggle that leaves your mouth only causes his heart to stir even more, and he tries his best not to giggle back as much as he feels like he needs to. he has a dark image to protect lol.

if someone else makes him shy and you’re near him, he goes immediately to take your arm and hide his face behind it with the cute high pitched nico laugh we love. more often, nico just steps behind you and plants half his face on your shoulder, again only leaving his eyes to be shown. euijoo had once said that nicholas one of the most important people in his life so casually, and the next moment, nicholas had already left your side and had his face hidden behind your shoulder. so cute.

⌕. author’s note ; did i disappear again? yes i did and i’m so sorry! i did have a lot of motivation to write over break but never had the time because of family plans, but! i am still working on current wips and starting to work on &team works! thank you for waiting!!
