Bllk spoilers for the 'egoist bible' about Shidou

Just so y'all are aware, based on that little scan I saw from a newly released bllk character interview, it's implied that Shidou cries at the end of every day. Man's cries at the end of the day when he's cleared his mind, or when his mind is blank (this is my very rough translation).

So uh

Painful backstory for Shidou heavily implied? I mean. All the signs are there!!! And each back story has gotten worse and worse, soooooooo if anyone has any theories behind why he doesn't have an emotional attachment to crying...👀

Shidou specifically does not say the verb, "cry," but rather says "tears," a noun, kinda like othering the action/separating it from himself for being a reason for his tears. He knows the action of crying, and he knows that tears are the result of crying. The way he answered the question: "Last time you cried?" Is VERY telling about his character and how he sees himself in relation to crying. And it seems, to me, at least based on the sentence I saw, Shidou frequently cries.

What if the reason he does HEAVY under-eye liner is to literally cover up how his eyes look the morning after crying (sorry im such a sucker for characters looking the way they do to cover up things bc me too. Look like shit and feel shame for looking like a wreck? Dont want people asking you if you're okay or be concerned about you? Makeup baybeeeee!!!)?

Who knows when or how long he cries because he just says "when the day is over" or "at the end of the day." The Japanese sentence for the first part of what he says can be read as a daily thing he does, and I'm running with that until otherwise confirmed in canon.
