34. Kisses that start on their fingers and run up their arm, eventually ending on their lips.

George would call himself a casual gamer. He mainly plays minecraft or whatever his friends invite him to play on stream. Most of his time off stream is spent coding or recording for Dream so he wouldn’t call himself a “professional”

Now you on the other hand, you were a certified gamer or rather a trophy winning gamer. You had been on a professional esports team for almost as long as you had known George and only recently made it your full time job after you carried your team to back to back championship wins in Valorant.

You practiced almost everyday and your company even paid for a brand new setup for you since you and George had been sharing for the past year. You would spend most of your time in your office playing random matches to build your skills as well as your weapons arsenal. You only came out for two meals and random bathroom breaks.

Today was different though, you hand sprained your wrist while out filming a video for your team's YouTube channel and so your doctor had said to rest it for 3 days. You had nearly started crying but George couldn’t be more excited. Three whole days he gets to spend with you without you going off to your office to practice.

It was day 2 of your resting when George noticed your mood was down. He tried to lift your spirits by watching your favorite movies with you and ordering from your favorite pizza place but even that couldn’t tear your eyes away from your hands.

“George,” You suddenly said as the two of you were getting ready for bed. “What if I can never play again. The doctor said this could be long term and I just, I don’t know who I am without my team.”

George sits next to you on the bed and grabs your hands gently. “Your hands will be fine love. I just know it.” Your eyes meet his and his heart shatters seeing the tears flooding your eyesight. “Even without gaming love, you are incredible.”

“Really,” You scoff softly. “George without gaming we wouldn’t have even met. I would still be working at a fucking H&M in some mall and living paycheck to paycheck.”

“Yes we met through gaming but your gaming skills are certainly not why I fell in love with you.” He raises your hands to his lips as he begins to list off every reason he loves you punctuating each with a gentle kiss to your fingers. “I fell in love with your smile.” Kiss. “Laugh.” Kiss. “Caring nature, humor, kindness.” Slowly his kisses made their way up your arm and to your neck. “But most of all I fell in love with how you care for me.”

He pulls away for a moment to look into your eyes. “You are everything to me and I am so incredibly lucky to have you in my life. So what if you can’t play valorant anymore, that gives us more time to plan our future together, look for an actual house and not my dingy flat, make time for trips and finally meeting Dream. Gaming isn’t all you are love, you are so, so much more.”

You smile at him through the tears that had long been falling. “I love you so much George.” You cups his cheeks and pull him into a gentle kiss. George’s hands make their way around your waist and pull you down onto the bed with him breaking the kiss.

“You need to get some real sleep love,” You nod and lay your head against his chest and drift off to sleep, finally letting weeks of exhaustion hit you and take over your body. George smiles and kisses your forehead. “I can’t wait for our future.”

He looks longingly at his bedside drawer where a ring just your size resides.

I know I'm posting this way later than any of my other moots but I just wanna make a post appreciating all the moots I'm bringing with me into the new year. They honestly are some of my closest friends and I am so so grateful to have met them. So I'm gonna brag on them a little.

@redhoodsoot - Char! Oh my goodness I love this person so much. They are so incredibly kind and talented. We met back in June when I first joined Ari's discord server and didn't really interact at first but I always have so much fun when talking to her. She was helping me with something big coming up and I am so so excited for you all to see the work they did soon!

@venusacrossthestars - Venus, where do I even begin? We met on Fizzy's discord server and I immediately knew we would be friends because we both are huge Sapnap simps and shared a mutual hatred for people who use his real name in fics. Anytime I write a Sapnap fic I just know that she will want to see a sneak peek of it. She is always so fun to talk to.

@thatplanetmarz - Oh boy, the simp master themselves Mars. I'll never forget when Mars and I fist interacted on Ari's discord server. I had just joined and Ari introduced me as a Ranboo kinnie and proceded to tell me that Mars is a Tommy kinnie. I sent a picture of an allium because, ya know, allium duo. And Mars went into the moot-chat channel and asked the moots what I had just sent not realizing I was in moot-chat. funniest fucking thing that's ever happened.

@sharkie-pog - My child, Blue! Late night voice calls with them are my all time favorite. Just talking with them for hours about random topics honestly feels like talking to the younger sibling I never had. They're always first to hype up and reblog my writing (cause they have my post notifs on, what a simp) and I always appreciate it.

@strawberrymilkgeorge - Fizz, my god. If you told me back at the beginning of 2021 that they would be on my moots list I would have laughed so hard at you. I stated 2021 as a huge fan and ended it with one of my closest friends. I admire her writing so much and internally freak out anytime we interact. I am so so grateful for her and so happy to call Fizz my friend.

would lead to me making one of my best friends. Honestly one of the only people I've met online that I legitimately want to meet IRL and would fly across the world to make that happen.
