BSD Thoughts

Can we talk about how some fans say "ADA will always save Dazai"

Hell no? Every time when Dazai was the one to be saved ADA was nowhere to be found, but when someone from ADA needed to be saved Dazai helped. But let's remember who always helped Dazai, yes Chuuya and whenever Chuuya went to save him he always say that Mori made him do it.

It doesn't matter how much Dazai hates Mori, he knows that Mori will be the one to save him and that's maybe why Dazai haven't killed Mori yet. Let's be real if Dazai wanted to kill Mori before he would not in easy way because Mori is not stupid and weak as people say (because they hate him).

If you want to understand Fyodor of BSD you must:

✓ Read Brothers Karamazov, and pay attention to the chapter related to Ivan Karamazov; also read about "The Grand Inquisitor" (a topic that is discussed in the novel, but as a research topic it's interesting).

✓ Read Crime and Punishment and research abou "Napoleonic Complex": lower and higher beings.

✓ Understand how Dostoevsky reflects the devil in his literary characters vs how the gospel / the Bible sees him.

✓ MAYBE you need to read "The Demons" by Fyodor Dostoevsky. (I'm still working on it, but I'm sharing it by chance, I know I will find more helpful references)

NOTES: Asagiri-sensei said in an interview he used Ivan Karamazov's monologue with the gentleman (devil) in order to develop Dostoevsky's character. So if you are like me, a deist, who has not read the Bible at all and is unaware of the orthodox Christian gospel, It will be enough for you to simply read The Brothers Karamazov and understand how Fyodor Dostoevsky makes his characters question whether they believe in God and what is or is not allowed depending on whether one believes in Him.

Grabbed cats in order belong to @xmajordumps @runningwithscizzorz @bamsara @aveloka-draws @silkysong @asmodeauxx @ballad-of-the-lamb @lambment @chocosnowflake0 and then my own:

I thought it would be fun to draw other people’s Narinder and then as I was wrapping up came to the slow, horrifying realization that I’ll have to tag these people and hope no one smites me.

I accidentally spent like 3-4 hours on each and then for some god forsaken reason decided to do unique backgrounds. I kinda lost my mind here.

Mean cat upon ye.

Galvanism

After absolute months of planning, I'm so happy to announce that my Rimlaine fic, "Galvanism" is finally up with it's first chapter released to Ao3!!!

Galvanism is a narrative-driven, slow burn story revolving around one of Rimlaine's dispatch missions before the events of Bungo Stray Dogs or Suribachi city. It has!:

An original-character-based supporting cast based on real authors, using some of my favorite authors like John Milton and Dante Alighieri and their works to shape their unique abilities

RELIGIOUS THEMES!!! Using a cathedral as a base of operations, the antagonist organization of Galvanism, Paradiso, is comprised of various authors of religious backgrounds and aesthetics.

A long-form plot planned since November of last year (please help)

Various metaphors for Rimlaine's relationship, as well as exploration of BOTH character's issues and struggles with themselves and their environment.

A LOT of love put into it <3.

If you are interested in any of these concepts or simply want to support me as a writer, please consider putting Galvanism on your reading list! I love you Stormbringer/Rimlaine community, I hope you like it :)!
