I can’t express enough how Elide and Lorcan make me happy. Why do i have a thing for enemies to lovers 😭

Just finished empire of storms, dunno if i mentioned this but i gave up on reading eos and tower of dawn at the same time. Every chapter got me invested in both stories so it was a struggle to put down one just to go to the other and vise versa.

I love Elide and Lorcan, can’t wait for him to grovel at Elide’s feet. Manon and dorian are the cutest and sexiest couple no one can change my mind. While Ailen and Rowan just crushed my heart at the end. Cuz damn bro, the angst for me personally was heavy. Lysandra is bestest girl fr tho because even with being upset with the decision she followed through with the plan her queen set.

Onto tower of dawn to see how this one is gonna crush my soul. Only thing keeping me going is yren because she’s a cinnamon roll imo.

I read through the last 15 chapters without recapping so im def gonna need to search it up, but Nehemia is dead??? After all that?? Like i knew she was gonna die cuz spoilers but, honestly was not expecting it to happen this way. I really let my guard down sighs.

Anyway the first half of crown if midnight is honestly brutal. My boy dorian being ignored and celaena bein selfish (which she has every right to of course, but like main character isn’t main charactering), and now nehemia….

Imma just continue now cuz if I give myself another break it’s gonna be 7 am (currently boutta be 5:30 am lol)

THEORY: what if the king is also a creature or being from another world? If the feeling celaena is getting from him is the same as the one that the portals summoned by cain give her,,, then he too must be magic related.

Maybe he got rid of all magic to be the only one to Weald it. But it doesn’t make sense when it comes to the wyrdmarks and gates. Why keep the knowledge of those around? Whatever the case, this is a half baked theroy anyway. Tis just smthn that crossed my mind.

(Just started chapter 44, the king is back from the trip he was on and he crossed paths with celaena and chaol.)

I’m at the point where the book is getting kinda creepy. Ion mind gore and fighting. But start talking about dark tunnels and whispering in the dead of night,,, yeah nope (especially since i read in the dead of the night myself).

Not to mention the part im up to is showing some sort of evil force taking over the duke. Makes sense that the evil spirit or whatever it is needs some sort of host to see what’s happening and such. But Chaol better be careful cuz the duke was staring while he was leaving the dining hall.
