Every year or two I revisit Tumblr. I discover the joy of sharing my thoughts and reading other people's thoughts from the very start.

And then I discover the nightmares.

I give myself two weeks this year, although quite frankly it does look a whole lot better than it did when I last visited.

It was during the pornbot apocalypse and the Tumblr live era. Dark times.

The website changed but the people probably didn't. I hope there's less extremism here now, though that's asking for too much.

can you believe that we have fanfiction. that we have websites dedicated to fanfiction. that there is a place that you can go and read tens, hundreds, thousands and thousands of pieces of writing that strangers have made. people who are not "writers". people who come home at the end of the day and have feelings and say, i am going to put that into words. i am going to share those words. short, long, sweet, sad, horny, funny, wonderful words. we are all just human and we all love to make and remake and share that with others. can you believe that.

I want to add that female medicine is medieval and women first started to partake in medication testing in the 90's and it still isn't obligatory.

The female healthcare is such a nightmare you will not meet a woman who hasn't somehow suffered from it and after all the deaths and nightmares we see in our lives and media, it's not hard to come to the conclusion that pregnancy would be a life threatening disaster.
