Having Dream mixed with a child is a bad idea.

We already know this…**coughcough** tommy**coughcough**

So, let's say, Dream is like an older brother to you.

It will be one..mixed up relationship.

I will put readers in the age of 8-10.

You are young and naive, but not stupid.

You lack experience in the world, and Dream definitely took advantage of this.

Starting from when you were at the ripe age of 5 Dream had been training you at PVP combat.

Day and night he had been working for you. He made you hunt in the brisk hours of the morning.

Train in fighting till dusk, and teach you basic household skills at night.

Your normal bed time was about 12 in the morning. And you would only get 4-5 hours of sleep a night.

That is unless it was your break day.

Every Sunday Dream would let you sleep and do as you please.

But if you wanted to train more..he wasn’t going to say no.

But that is how your daily life has been.

Along with Dream squeezing in schooling somehow into your day to day life. You would have 3, 45 minutes lessons a day.

This was your life.

You knew Dream and you were not biological and that was okay to you.

But you still saw him as your older brother.

Even if he was really mean sometimes, and you caught him trying to manipulate you a few times.

What matters is he saved you.

You don’t know how, but he did.

He refuses to tell you because “You're not ready to handle it.”

But you didn’t need a story to look up to him.

You know that Dream meant good deep down.

He just never knew how to show it.

But on rare occasions, you could see a peak of his kindness.

Like one time:

That's why when he heard you beginning to cry from the sounds.

To distract you, Dream told you stories of his glorious and odd adventures and of when he and George were still friends.

It was great.

You looked at him with hope filled eyes the entire time.

Now just because Dream was kind to you, (in his own ways), doesn’t mean he was still Dream.

Dream saw you as a successor for himself, so he needed to train you to be as great as he is.

At first he thought you were gonna be a chores, and you were at first.

But that's before he started to pick up, you were a fast learner, and he had to understand you wouldn’t know things right away.

Dream also took you in hopes of filling some of his loneliness and it worked.

He was torn in half about you.

One part wanted to use you and throw you away like everything else.

You were nothing but a tool, and a dumb tool at that.

But the other part of him actually liked you.

You were like the only family that he had.

And he wanted to protect that.

But least to say, he is still as possessive as ever.

He won't let you leave the house by yourself.

You have to constantly be in his line of sight.

And he’s really stricted.

But least to say, he’s got a whole other storm coming when teenager years come along.

In short: I wouldn’t trust Dream with a Kid. No no.

Actually, looking back at the other DSMP yanderes you write for with this new knowledge, I’ve come to the realisation that you could probably have soft moments with all of them, the only exceptions/rarest soft moments being Schlatt and God!Techno. Of course, the times these moments would happen and how often they are changes from person to person, as well as how they’d spend it. I’m starting to think in depth about how each yandere might spend these moments and I’m not sure if I should stop

I think soft times with Schlatt would likely only happen when your asleep. Or at least for a long time.

God Techno, it takes him a while to open up. For a long time he will just make you be hip and hip with him. We don't know if it's to keep an eye on you for the just show off. But you'll have to be the one to initiate any first steps to the soft side of the god. And even then the "soft moment" are mainly just him acting like a curious child. He asks you an abundance of questions

What about a darling who randomly cries for no reason and they could be smiling or just zoning out, techno and dream just panic and the ask what's wrong and reader would be confused before they realize that they are crying and reader would give them so many heat attacks before they get used to it, but still keep and eye on reader when they start to cry.

I think it would definitely be scary at first. But they would do anything to make you feel better, so when you burst out in tears for like the fourth time, Dream will start letting Techno deal with it. Dream isn't that good with emotions let alone sudden ones.
