Here it is - first character reference I made for a charr! I know the anatomy is not perfect, I still have a long way to go, but… I am proud of it. The last few years have been rough for me in sense of drawing, it just… didn’t make fun to me anymore. Every next step was making me more and more tired and discouraged. Lineart? Time consuming. Shading? My gosh, nope. I kept in my mind that everything has to be *PERFECT* - complex shading, impressive backgrounds, interesting pose, colored lineart - and I think this is what sucked out the joy of drawing for me. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It only has to be fun to you. :)

This is Kat Warfire, my Flame Legion shaman. Don’t ask for his profession, please. (okay, a few days he was a guardian/firebrand, then elementalist/weaver, finally a warrior/berserker for a long time and  with over 80% World Completion… now he is back to being an elementalist)

Aladra, Olmakhan Necromancer Sandshifter 

Yea, a sandshifter, she shifts sands, yes… It’s definitely nothing related to death, or minions and necromancy, nooooo…

Aladra was raised by her High Legion mother, Shila Darkeye ( @hawkclash ), in Atholma. Since childhood she was interested in necromancy - poor Shila had to put up with her daughter’s good will aka. creating minions from Shila’s pets to cheer her up. Aladra might have been a loner, a bit of an outsider and “weirdo” because of her interests among the Olmakhan, but she was still loved by the others for her lovely and cheerful attitude. Since necromancy is something against nature, Aladra usually introduces herself as a sandshifter. Of course, those who know her, know what she usually uses for her advantage in battles - not only the sand shades, but also the foe’s life force to strengthen her own defenses. Oh, and she never creates minions. NEVER EVER. The horror on her mother’s and brother’s faces upon seeing her undead servants was traumatising.
