Somebody needs to give me cat advice, because my cat has been infected by toxic diet culture and I don't understand anything 😭!

To summarise, this creature of mine, sweet as she is, has been refusing to eat her food properly for going on two weeks now. Dry food? A few crunches then a few sips of water and move on with life. Wet food from a packet? Drink the liquid parts and leaves the chunks till the ants find them and maybe, MAYBE she'll eat them then. Wet cat food of my mother's own recipe that our old cat and fosters and the neighbours cat and the street cats all loved! Lol nope.

This liquid dieting is weird right? This isn't normal for a not yet one year old Indian stray turned housecat right?? Right??

If anyone deserves to shoulder at least some of the blame, it is Gaius in his never-ending loyalty to the very concept of Uther. Maybe it's because of my personal circumstances, but when someone who may as well be a surrogate parent to me tells me not to do something, I would trust that they knew enough to at least mean well, and simultaneously because I have plenty of experience being let down by people with positions of authority in my life, I personally wouldn't assume that 'means well' is the same as 'does well'. But Merlin isn't and has no reason to be like me in that, he actually trusts that manipulative overgrown lizard and Gaius with Arthur's life (not his own, because he never actually seems to value that very much).

not putting this person on blast but how is it so difficult for people to understand that merlin doesn't fucking owe his deeply personal and life threatening secret to anyone. morgana is losing her mind, which is the exact reason he SHOULDN'T. for his safety. she can't be expected to act rationally and there's literally no way of telling whether knowing merlin has magic would improve things or make them much, much worse. read: morgana telling uther he has magic and getting him fucking executed. merlin isn't responsible for morgana or her choices or her mental health. stop pinning that on him. he doesn't owe his secret to anyone. ANYONE. you're also removing morgana's agency. what is so difficult about this concept
