Her blade stopped short of the hanyo's throat, stilling her. She stared silently, as if daring her.

After the damn shikon had been wished away, they'd come to strained terms. While her older sister was still quiet and lethal, she wasn't trying to kill her anymore. So there was that.

"The otoko," she spoke sternly.

Her eyes narrowed confused, "Keh, what about him? You leave him out of this."

The blade did not so much as move, "The boy said to stop."

Meanwhile in the distance said boy, sat with a pout setting down his yellow backpack. As the sister's had their stare off, he finally grumbled, "I said I'm taking a break."

She smirked in satisfaction her brow raising ever so delicately, riling her younger sister's ire.

What fun times.

Just practice WIP

I'm not really sure if I'll finish it, but im hoping little doodle spurts will help rid me of my shoulder pain!

Just sharing here, might doodle it. But my Ba just called me that he needed an animal trap. Me instinctively am like, aw shit it's a possum or raccoon RIGHT? But he's making this kinda 'I'm not doin noyhin sus rn' kinda look, STILL WITH ME?

So me I'm like, well what type of animal is it? So I know the trap size. Like hell, could be a mouse right? This is where this grown man, starts looking like I've asked him where he keeps his stash.

He's mouthing the word, and I'm like bro- I'm bad at this game. He proceeds to get up and exit his house to tell me it's a cat. LOL Now my Ba has always pretends he doesn't like cats, but he's always been a real hush hush cat lover.

Meanwhile I'm cackling, asking him- why did you need to leave the house to say it? His response was, I didn't want to offend the dogs. Mind you, he has lil shihtzu dogs that will run from their own shadow.

He's outside showing where he's seen them and that it's between 3-4 kittens, and a mama- getting on the ground and shit. Then complaining that they got him outside looking for them when he's "old."

Then he speed walks to a neighbor, like hey maybe they have a trap. He's like super serious now. Like he's gonna get at least one, he's set. Neighbor is a no go, lol. So he has me looking the interweb for a freakin trap, cause he's got big puppy eyes and wants the lil black kittens like some dark overlord. Did I tell you he was upset the store is closed cause it's a Sunday and night time?!

Will update if we catch one. BTW IT IS DARK OUTSIDE.

Update: Told my husband and now he's looking too. But he's involved now because he too wants one...damn it this is not the way I was planning my Sunday night. LoL

Flowers for MamaMaru

She watched the child enthusiastically pick flowers from the field. Her curiosity finally getting the better of her she spoke out, "Child."

Happily the onna came to sit by her, "Yes my Lady!"

She stared at him for a moment finally speaking after her brief pause, "hn."

The boy saw her pointed stare to the armful of flowers, "oh!" He plucked the prettiest one of the bunch, handing I to the daiyoukai, "The flowers are beautiful!"

Taking the crisp white flower from his small hand, the boy flopped back into her pelt. "Hn," she spoke, continuing to survey the area.

Sleepily the child murmured, "Just like my Lady." This had her turn her head to glance at the boy, "She's the best and prettiest Lady of the land." Slowly the child was loosing his battle to stay awake, "She takes the best care of me." His breathing slowed as he ebbed into sleep, "I love her the most, my Lady mama."

A ghost of a smile crossed her face as she held delicately the white flower on her lap. She returned to keeping watch as the young boy slept, "hn."

The scent she carries

She retreated from the now larger group, mumbling under her breath. Inuyasha had been in a sour mood all week, but thankfully Sesshomaru stayed quiet. Which drove Inuyasha madder.

His moodiness had him lash out at everyone. Today apparently she was told she stunk and needed a bath, which struck her ire. One strike, one strike at her had her chase the hanyo out the camp with her trusty cast iron skillet.

"Rude ass," she grumbled as she trekked away to find the stream they'd passed not too far back. She was stopped when her path was blocked by the silent older brother, causing her to sigh. "Do you need something Sesshomaru," she mumbled. He strode forward purposefully invading her personal space, nearly causing her to stumble back.

"Do not retreat from this one," his deep voice murmured.

Well at least he had the decency to speak to her at least, "Look-"

Gently he took a tuft of her hair, bringing it to face startling her. "The welp is unsettled," he began, "Where are you going Kagome?"

Staring at him she struggled to find her words, "I'm- Er bath."

His molten eyes remained unwavered, as he continued to stroke her obsidian locks trapped in his digits. "Your scent is not offensive," he spoke, her hair brushing against his lips.

She blushed madly, feeling the heat rise in her face, "I should-"

"It is unnecessary," he interrupted, "You smell pleasing." Again he pressed closer to her, "The boy wants you away from myself."

Her blue eyes could not break free, "You? But you didn't do-"

His gaze made her want to fidget, "Because this one finds it," he paused, mulling over his words, "Finds you appealing."

Kagome blinked owlishly, finally speaking after a light pink rose to his cheeks and the tips of his ears, "Well that's new."

Sorry I'm slow guys! My hand to mi shoulder is like- no. LoL

Time to go make some ghost friends, lol 🖤👻
