Heyo potatoes, I'm Mangos. I love all things Zelda and Splatoon, including Linked Universe (and other Linkverses), and the Splatoon mangas. I will draw stuff for you, all you have to do is ask. My Splatoon name is the goofy (matching with my boyfriend, he is the silly). If you see me say hi :>My reblog account is @mangoreblog

What if I wrote a thing. That would be cool, right?
This is a Sky x Reader blurb, in which you vent all your suppressed emotions to Sky. So yeah. Maybe I'll write more, who knows?
Night was starting to fall around the camp. The others had already started their sleeping routines, but you couldn’t think about sleep right now. You looked up at the sky and watched the sun dip down below the horizon, your heart as dark as the sky swallowing the space around the sun. You sigh. Today had been hard for you, the negative thoughts and emotions had attacked you like the plague. You wished you had a way to vent your feelings, but who is going to listen to you? The Chain had experienced things far worse (physically and emotionally) than what you were going through right now. It wouldn’t be fair to unload on them. Ever since meeting up with them and joining their little group you’ve always felt a little out of place, like you weren’t supposed to be there. But where else could you go? The whole reason you are wandering out here in the first place is because you have no where to go. Now here you are, an outsider. Your train of thought is suddenly interrupted by the sound of a stick cracking. You jump up from where you were sitting, thoroughly startled. But as you take in the visitor more clearly, you relax. The Hero of Sky blushed and awkwardly clambered the rest of the way out of thicket toward you. “I didn’t mean to startle you,” he said. You could tell he was embarrassed for accidentally sneaking up on you. He takes a seat next to you, the movement a little awkward. You sit in silence for a few minutes, then he says, “Hey, I noticed that you seemed a little… off today. You are not usually this distant and quiet. I just wanted to make sure that you… that you’re okay.” He looked at you, concern filling his gaze. Sky’s statement caught you off guard, you didn’t realize you had been so obvious with your emotions. He also seemed to care about how you felt, which was something that you didn’t experience often. “Oh. I didn’t mean to worry you. I… I’m fine really,” you finish quickly after you remember everything he’s been through. Sky isn’t convinced. “(y/n). If there’s something bothering you, you can talk to me, you know that right?” “Yeah…” He waits a minute, then decides that maybe you don’t want to talk right now. As he starts to get up to leave, you realize that you still want him here. You want to be near someone who cares and maybe… maybe he would actually understand? “Sky, wait,” you say, tugging on his shirt. He looks at you questioningly. “Could… could you stay for a while? I don’t really want to be alone.” “Of course,” His voice is soft and comforting. He sits back down next to you. You lean on him and the swelling of your emotions finally bubbles over. You begin telling him about everything that’s been happening to you and about your overwhelming emotions. You tell him about how you feel like you aren’t good enough and that you will never find people who will accept you. As you continue to vent, your words blur together and you can’t hold back the tears anymore. You try to get yourself to stop crying, but your tears aren’t listening to you anymore. Your face is soaked with tears and snot and your words aren’t even intelligible anymore. Sky wraps his arms around you and pulls you into a hug. Your cries are muffled against his shirt. He holds you there and quietly whispers, “It’s gonna be okay, I’m here. I understand, and I want you to know that I accept you. You belong here and I care about you. We all do.” His words are a little awkward, but the are comforting. He continues to whisper this to you and holds you the entire time. Eventually, you stop crying and take comfort in his embrace. Slowly you drift off to sleep, your broken heart having been pieced back together and now glowing with warmth.

Something that's been on my mind for a while now. The Wind Waker peoples in Lurelin Village. I love that Creating A Champion has all these clothing references in it.
(don't worry about Linebeck, he's probably gonna be fine)
