A scene from a story I’m probably never going to write.

Long story short, Jimsa makes a move on his colleague, Zaravant is taken aback and rejects him without thinking much but then starts having second thoughts and eventually, having more or less sorted out his feelings, he makes up his mind, seeks Jimsa out at a banquet held for Rajendra, and drags him outside to Talk. And so they Talk; Zaravant is trying to put his complicated feelings into words but failing badly, Jimsa is not helping, and at some point Zaravant gives up and says ‘Screw this. Do you want to dance,’ in response to which Jimsa asks ‘Do you want me to go kidnap one of the court musicians and drag them here?’ Zaravant laughs and even though he knows it’s a joke (or is it?), he still answers ‘There’s no need,’ then adds ‘I know a good song.’

Narsus and Farangis brotp: an incomplete compilation

The way he constantly entrusts her with tasks, difficult and dangerous ones, and her unfailingly completing them, speaks volumes of the level of trust Narsus has in Farangis and her capabilities, and Farangis' trust in Narsus and his loyalty to Arslan.

Plus the way she regularly chides him regarding the Alfarīd matter, I don't like the subject matter nor Farangis' stance really (I like Alfarīd and I don't like how reluctant Narsus is, she deserves someone who wants her full-force 100%— and I don't really like how Farangis tells Narsus it's either accept Alfarīd's feelings or be single forever) (I do like her telling Narsus to have a serious conversation with Alfarīd though) (ANYWAYS that was a tangent) it feels like an elder sister scolding a younger brother, even though iirc Narsus is older than her. Farangis just proves that Elder Sister is a matter of attitude, not age lmao.

Can I see any romantic potential in them? Ehhhhhh, debatable. I don't think Farangis can see him in that way.

I much prefer them being bros.
