A preview!! It took a lot of erasing and redrawing but he finally looks presentable enough to me, oh god this is nerve-wracking.

This is just from the back of one of the manga volumes on one of those maps that show you where the various characters are located. I don’t think he’s ever been referred to in this way in the actual chapters. I’m curious about where this even came from, but my instinct is it’s probably based on how the disciples refer to him.

It just feels wrong, but at the same time, I do kind of get it; Team Zahhak are basically evil priests, complete with a creepy underground temple, who serve what they see as a god.

I don’t like him, but I do want to get a proper look at his face now that he’s regained his youth. Don’t we deserve to have that “oh no, he’s hot” moment?

I got to go buy a new stylus today (FINALLY!!) and of course I immediately put it to work. I had to. Ended up drawing for like at least three hours straight, my neck hurts, but oh I'm so happy even if the progress I made was a bit shit.

Did the lineart and started the process of sketching out his tattoo designs! I had some beginnings of a design before this whole unable-to-draw period went on but I hated it so I scrapped it. New version now!

Yeah it looks like shit. But I have Plans™ to hopefully make it prettier (and do the entire process again for the other arm, and do other designs for torso, neck, and face) and the colours I have here are mere placeholders anyways. I intend to change it up and make it look better. My neck and shoulders are hurting even more just thinking about it, it's gonna be an Ordeal™, but oh I'm so fucking happy I can draw again.

Even if school starts again literally next Monday, and I am so not looking forward to it.
