Come to think of it, nothing ever came of this plan of Guiscard's... The way he said “With Andragoras, it's either him or us, but with the Crown Prince there might be room for negotiation.” I wonder if this means Arslan's mercy is a fact well known far and wide by now, even by his enemies like Guiscard here? It reminded me of this video, esp the ending part:

Anyhow, that's neat, though it's not included in this panel the other motive for Guiscard wanting this is to sow suspicion and discord within the Parsian army— drive a wedge between Andragoras and Arslan (Andragoras already hates Arslan, leave him alone!).

What does Hilmes's “...oh?” mean here??? I feel like he had some Realization™ but... what!!! Hilmes, tell me your thoughts!! Is he finally realizing Arslan isn't just an extension/one mind of/with Andragoras? What's up, my man???

Lately I've kind of been in the mode of rewatching old anime series that I've seen before.

Actually, I was actually watching FMAB, another masterpiece by Arakawa.

I think for those of you who know this anime/manga and the heroic legend of Arslan by Hiromu Arakawa, we can't help but notice the similarity between Roy Mustang and Shapur. (Not that I'm complaining about that XD )

However, a thought occurred to me. Roy Mustang is also in the military and is a commander, as is Shapur. Both seem to have some similarities in character or similarities.

However, we all know that Roy Mustang has a big weakness...... good looking ladies in short skirts -.-

What is not necessarily supposed to speak as his strength and for him is always worth a laugh for us (or for me) when he gets a rebuff or fails with his idea that the military should introduce miniskirts for women.

Apart from that I asked myself the question......what if Shapur also has a small but subtle weakness? That can make an outsider smile ;)

I mean, I did mention that in a modern setting, I imagine him as having a weakness for sweets, and even though he tries to eat less, he can't get over it.

Or what if he secretly actually likes to play tricks on one or the other?

And no one knows who did it because he always does it in secret?

I don't think he has a thing for ladies in short skirts xD though personally, I would only like this character more if he somehow, somewhere had a little weakness that made you roll your eyes in amusement.

(You know what I mean xD)
