Because Eredin succeeded to Auberon, he is now the new King of the Alders. But I see him more as the King of Frost and Thorns. I like the way "King of Thorns" --"Roi des Ronces"-- sounds in French because of the harsh sound of the "r". I think this name would suits him quite well. What do you think?

Well, there he looks like more of the King of Bones ^^

I wanted him charming but menacing, weirdly seductive but creepy, gracious and calm but still venomous and predatory. I don't know if I nailed it but I enjoyed drawning him with this strange look.

The Three Graces: Lara Dorren, Ciri, a Girl with no name ('Fake' Cirilla).

Inspired by the Three Graces, antique Greek goddesses of charm, beauty and creativity.

I'm always sorry when those characters are seen are a lesser version of each one, or replacements. Ciri as a deceptive alternative for Lara Dorren in most Aen Elle's view, and Cirilla as a dummy of the real Ciri for Nilfgaard. So those women seem regularly showed somehow separated and rivals and I think it's unfair and inaccurate.

Fake Ciri is often forgotten by the fandom and isn't appreciated enough, as if she was just a blank puppet. She has her own story, her own strength, her own path and was very courageous and choose the fate Emhyr proposed her knowingly. I don't like when she's only presented as a bland victim. Lara Dorren is a tragic figure but she opposed to her people to get the life she wanted and fought till the very end.

Each one has made personal, painful and hard choices to reach a better life, even if they were often mistreated or misunderstood.

So I wanted to represent them united, brave and tied up, because I see them as strong women (not only Ciri) which share some deep connections.

They are like three aspect of a same entity/concept or three faces of Ciri: her roots, her actual present, a path she didn't choose but someone else took.

I wanted them strong, resilient and complementary.

Because I love the idea that badass women are not always warriors with a sword but can also find their own power and strength in rebellion, freedom or acceptance. It's not only the tragedy, the free spirit and the victim. Each one are wild roses, growing up despite everything and I love to think of them as inspirational and strongly bonded together.
