we are beautiful, you and I,

an imperfect reflection of perfection

as each touch echoes the act of creation we were made in

the divine us, the universe embracing itself

in an all-encompassing all

you are everything and everything is so complicated

and it’s beautiful and it’s terrifying

as our definitions distort and blend

like watercolor paint, i was always so impatient

I can’t tell where you begin and I end

I idolize you too much to ask what we are

because an identity could tear our beings apart

a label our forbidden fruit

i don’t want to leave Eden

you give me something to believe in

this is sisyphusian

but i love you

Do you get socially anxious?

It really depends on the situation! I tend to get very anxious and embarrassed when people around me do something deemed socially unacceptable, because I’ve spent so much effort learning how to mask my OWN “socially unacceptable” behaviors, i think it’s like internalized ableism more than actual social anxiety. I like to perform and draw attention to myself through acting loud and dressing crazy, and so I would say I’m not the most socially anxious person!
