There isn't even a real need to do that to Amy in the narrative anyway because Sonic has made it clear in CANON for the past 30 YEARS that he just isn't into her romantically. No need to demonize the poor girl, just acknowledge Sonic's canon feelings and move on with your damn story, no Amy bashing required! Stop being unnecessarily mean to Amy.
