The only signs of mankind’s presence being the occasional and random log bench or a well placed stack of small rocks for a makeshift fire. It’s rewarding, just existing in solitude while you feel the pristine cold start to set in before carrying in the frozen tundra that will become a long, white winter. It is glorious and fulfilling to inhale the scents of the untainted waters and the undisturbed wilderness. Such a raw and grounding experience that always felt brand new each time I found myself there.”
