“This makes me long for the autumns of New York. It’s quite surreal to take in the crisp, clean, pure air of the Adirondack Mountains where it feels nothing has touched the landscape for eons except mother nature herself. The only signs of mankind’s presence being the occasional and random log bench or a well placed stack of small rocks for a makeshift fire. It’s rewarding, just existing in solitude while you feel the pristine cold start to set in before carrying in the frozen tundra that will become a long, white winter. It is glorious and fulfilling to inhale the scents of the untainted waters and the undisturbed wilderness. Such a raw and grounding experience that always felt brand new each time I found myself there.”
