not that I like j k rowling but it's funny that she wrote this book and was like "it has this thing in it with historic mythological precedence and it has a name used in said precedence" and someone else was like "ok, but ✨️alliteration✨️" and subsequently ruined the lives of several million americans

just saying I don't think I should have to use the trigonometry I haven't used since. gosh it feels like since precalc. mainly at all but also specifically for my landscape design graphics class. I'm here to draw pretty trees I'm not here to find the hypoteneuse

actually i never had to find the hypoteneuse in this situation i had it the whole entire time what i had to find was first the measure of an angle (in a non-right triangle) using all three side lengths because what i really wanted was the triangle's altitude if that's the right word and then i had to find the length of a leg of a made up right triangle because that's what an altitude is again assuming that's the right word using the hypoteneuse length and the measure of the angle i found earlier btw the angle was about 61.25 degrees and the altitude was about 58.74 feet gotta wonder what my classmates did for this because i feel like this was not it landscape design precalc math trig trigonometry Triangles class school high school college university Student student problems hypoteneuse i did in fact use the rule of cosines i think that’s what it’s called

I keep trying to come up with words, like for homework and things, and I consistently am like "yeah, marble. marble's a good word" except it literally isn't? I mean it is but I definitely don't need that one right now
