I debated about posting this. I'm not scared to share my opinion and I definitely have, before.

I didn't use my platform because while I was actively being educated about the issue, I wasn't using my accounts very much and so it felt like a waste. I could be doing more and so I did. It felt performative.

However, as the death toll rises, I can no longer keep my silence on any platform.

I saw, on tiktok, a video of a woman defending Israel. "All of them deserve it."

No child deserves the death penalty.

What crime did Hind Rajab commit? I could not look down at my eleven year old cousin and say she deserves to be locked in a vehicle for 12 days surrounded by her dead family members. Could you?!

Hind was only six.

I dare you to find the picture of that man, holding that baby's body and tell me that he or his child deserved that.

I stared at that picture for a while. I will not share it, out of respect. However, I will share one with you.
