I'm Eman. I’m 17 years old, and until the start of this war I lived a happy life in Gaza with my mother.

We’re currently residing in Khan Younis and living in a tent as a result of the brutalities committed by Israel since October 7th.

My father was martyred in the 2014 aggression.

My mother has been suffering from increase blood pressure and heart problems for more than four years and needs lifelong treatment now that her condition has worsened since the beginning of the aggression

We struggle daily to survive in an environment full of threats and risks.

The occupation destroyed my dreams and my future.

My school has also been destroyed, and I'm now a year behind other students my age.

I’m trying to collect the necessary funds to evacuate me and my mother, 49 years old, and start a new life after reaching Egypt.

Our sweet days were lost,here In Gaza Strip. and we lost everything we gained with our hard work throughout our lives, because of the Israeli occupation.

We are now homeless. My apartment, my family’s apartment, and my brother’s apartment have been destroyed. We no longer work and manage our business as we used to. My father’s Karmoush toy store, and my brother’s Muhammad Ali optical center, and Adam’s kunafa shop have all been completely destroyed. Even our personal cars were destroyed by tanks. These days, Water and food have become an impossible requirement to obtain. Our children are beautiful and our adults are fragile.

Support a Family from Gaza

A family from Gaza is urgently seeking assistance after their home and sources of livelihood were destroyed in the conflict. Currently, they are living in refugee tents. The businesses they lost include:

- Muhammad Ali Optical Center: Owned by brothers Muhammad and Ali.

- Karmoush Toy Showroom : Owned by their father.

- Adam Nabulsi Kunafa Shop: Owned by their brother Anas.

The destruction of these businesses has left them without a means of support. To escape the ongoing war, they need $5,000 per person to cross the Rafah border, amounting to $70,000 for the 14 family members, which includes parents, siblings, their spouses, and children. Additionally, they need funds to purchase and furnish a new home and cover personal expenses.

Oday and his family, including his 7 year old sister, witnessed the unspeakable. His sister's husband's family was bombed in their tent, and they witnessed the bodies torn apart when they went to rescue possible survivors. The shock overtook him completely. I don't think any one of us could survive such a sight, finding our family members torn to pieces by the world's apathy and complicity.

The horrific story of the recent war in Gaza

Since the beginning of the last war in Gaza, my home has been partially destroyed, forcing us to move. We had to move more than ten times to find safety. During this harrowing journey, we faced extreme hunger and malnutrition that almost claimed the lives of me and my children. In addition, we have been exposed to many serious infectious diseases and epidemics.

Unbearable hardships

I have to travel long distances just to get water, and stand in line for hours to get food. My mental health and the health of my children deteriorated due to the war. My children’s education was interrupted and they suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.

After: This is our house, built with our sweat and effort, and it was partially destroyed.

The right to a peaceful life

My children deserve to live a peaceful life free of fear and anxiety.

My dream is for your help to support my family and escape this genocide. Your help means the world to me and my children.

The cost of arranging travel for an adult outside Gaza currently ranges between $5,000 and $7,000, and $2,500 per child.
