Hello, I am Helen Basil Inshasi, I am 19 years old, I live with my beautiful family in Gaza. My family consists of a father, a mother, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. We were living wonderful days and I had just started studying high school, which was an introduction to completing my dream of studying journalism, but in one night and one day the dream turned into a nightmare. October 7 came and destroyed my dreams, and they did not stop at my dreams only, it destroyed our beautiful home. Now we have become homeless, living in a tent in the streets of Khan Yunis, me and my family, and we suffer greatly from the conditions and atmosphere of the tent, which is very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. We lack our most basic rights, such as water, as the water here is polluted and scarce. We have become infected with several diseases, including hepatitis and skin diseases caused by the scarcity and interruption of water. My mother and my younger brothers suffer greatly. Oh world, my family needs your help. We want to build a secure future and get out of Gaza. I want to complete my studies and achieve my dream. Please help me and my family. Thank you from my heart.

Jabalia Rehabilitation Society is the only institution in the northern Gaza Strip that provides services to a large group of people with disabilities, especially those with hearing disabilities. It is considered a center for health, psychological and educational support in Jabalia camp that is no less important than government institutions. It is considered one of the contributing and supporting institutions alongside the government health and educational centers in the camp and shares the burden and community services with those centers.

Since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7, the institution has been a center for sheltering thousands of displaced civilians, especially those with disabilities and their families who benefit from the institution's services. However, after the Israeli occupation forces entered Jabalia camp for the second time in the war on May 12, they destroyed and burned all the buildings and facilities of the association after it had been a shelter for thousands of displaced people.

I have been living with an early awareness since her birth of the inevitability of death from this disease, accompanied by the fear of waking up to losing her and losing her life. My little girl is certain that she is heading towards death in the absence of treatment possibilities and the availability of her requirements and that the expected end of her illness journey. I ask God for everyone who helps me not to complain of pain. Sickness, you do not know it. When sickness visits you, the world becomes smaller before your eyes, and all your wishes become insignificant in the face of health, and to see your child playing and enjoying good health. I am looking for someone to help me to alleviate the painful reality. We are suffering from my heartbreak for my sick child. She is lost before my eyes, and my homeland is devastated.

My life before the war was more beautiful. I hope that this pain and injustice that we are exposed to will end. I have the right to live in safety.
