I am trying to help the feral and stray cats in my neighborhood!😳😖
Hi, I don’t post on here a lot, but I would really appreciate it if I could get some advice. So, I have been feeding the stray/feral cats in my neighborhood, and I have realized that there a bunch!! I know that they probably come from the earlier generations of cats that people abandoned here when the housing crisis happened . I don’t know if I should call the shelter, but our shelter in my city SUCKS, and I am afraid that they’ll be off worse there.
So I have been feeding them and I was thinking about doing the “Trap, Neuter, and Release” process I have seen people doing. I know that this will help lower the feral/stray cat population in this neighborhood, but I am not sure how to start it. I do document the cats that I do see and who are the regulars that come by for food. I just feel really lost, and even though the internet is a crazy place it is useful. Also, does anyone know any good outdoor cat shelters.🧐🧐🧐

@ anon I am Jin’s age, too! I also have two young kids of my own so there are days where I feel like I’m ancient and shouldn’t belong to any sort of fandom at this point in my life because I’m supposed to be hardcore into adulting by now? ...But what is the point in depriving yourself of things that bring you joy? I agree with Mimi’s post with my whole chest. Age doesn’t matter to the boys and it shouldn’t matter to us, either. (Side note: I literally just made this side blog maybe a week ago so that I could try to meet some fellow ARMY, so please feel free to come scream at me if you want someone your age to talk to. 💜)
Hi Mimi!!! I have a question for you, do you think ppl can be too old to like kpop? I'm literally the same age as Jin and twitter is being so toxic and ageist about it like...why are ppl so mean :(
Since when being Jin’s age is even “OLD”???? And since when BTS’ music has an “AGE” limit???? And why should you feel bad about enjoying something non-harmful that makes you happy????
Listen first, this fandom is VERY diverse. While running this blog I talked to ARMYs that are 16 who love the boys but also ARMYs who are 61 who also love the boys. And most ARMYs I know personally are ADULTS. MY parents are ARMYs and Jin can be their son. Why? Because BTS music is not just for a certain age demographics. If you connect with it, well you listen to it. As simple as that.
RM said to ARMYs: “Music and performance transcend language, countries and races. Do you feel that? Yeah. Like a rainbow, I don’t care if you’re red, blue, orange, green, purple, whatever. Thank you.” And Yoongi also said on this matter: “Age and gender, nationality and religion, what language you use - all of that isn’t important to me.” Even BTS do not care about your age so why would you care about some strangers on the internet? There is a quote by Jin that I love that might help you: “Don’t sacrifice too much for others and treasure yourself more.“
AND please ARMYs let’s listen to Jungkook when he told us: “We should try to respect and understand each other. We need to be considerate of others. Only then we can understand each other and get close to each other and become one.“ Let’s be kind to one another ARMY.

A mischevious plan
I’ve been contemplating on whether or not I should put my stories and plots on here and now I decided to just go for it. This one is a super short oneshot from my collection, I hope you give it a read and enjoy it. P.s. this story is credited to me and the whole story is mine so I would need anyone to not copy my own work. I’ll post my Wattpad link in my next post if you wanna check out my account so stay tuned.
The golden rays of soft sunshine kissed my skin as it tumbled onto the couch where I sat, basking in the warmth of the early spring morning. The comfy cushions relaxing my body as my lids lulled to sleep, only a crack open. The serene noises of the shower playing a peculiar rhythm in my ears from the background; the tell-tale sign of my boyfriend taking his shower. My body sank further into the couch, twisting a bit to relax my muscles more. As I did, my onyx pools caught onto an object placed on the clear table. My gaze didn’t falter as it stared back at me. After intensely thinking for a minute, I grabbed hold of the object in question; his phone. A glimmer flicked in my charcoal orbs as a mischievous idea made its way into my head. My vermillion edges curving up into a grin as an image of his face when he finally found out what I had done. With the goal of changing his current wallpaper into something funny; like his embarrassing snaps or his funny silly faces, I unlocked the lock screen. Being the sweet boyfriend he is, he always let me have his phone, and his password, making the task a whole lot easier. The moment my raven globes landed on his home-screen, all thoughts of the plan flied out of the window. There, on his screen, a picture of us together in a café, with our bright smiles, happiness colouring my face as his dimples dug deep in his cheeks, an open book in the middle of us and two cups of warm coffee resting on each side stared at me, bringing my actions to a cease. A warm sensation developed in my chest, traveling from there until it spread across all over my body to the tips of my toes, filling all of my senses. I couldn’t help but let a wide crescent crept onto my scarlet plumps while my starless spheres narrowed in affection.
“What are you grinning for?”
A gravelly voice startled me out of my trance, making me jump. Instinctively, I locked it back, almost losing hold of the phone. A surge of heat started gathering in my puffy cheeks when my spheres soaked in the view that appeared in my field of vision. Unable to tear my gaze off, I swallowed the lump in my throat. His mauve strands were soaked, clinging to his forehead. Water droplets dripping down from his plum streaks, along his broad shoulders onto his well-defined abdomen to his waist where a soft fluffy white towel loosely wrapped around it. The small piece not providing enough coverage with his buff torso and sturdy thighs on full display, leaving little to the imagination. I caught my lower red flesh between my teeth.
“You know? You’re goanna be the death of me one day.”

Should I start writing BTS fanfics on this blog? I've been taking a break since last year so my writing has got a little rusty but I feel like I wanna try again, I'm not really sure about it yet since I've been busy and had hit a massive writer's block, on top of that writing is not really an easy feat either, so let me know if you want me to?
