Zircon Thoughts...

I barely know zircon and I already understand that she is a complex character, just like every other demon.

She was pushed for doing anything to please her human, angels have literally no agency, how could she know better? And after all, isn't pleasing humans, angel's jobs? In the end she got pushed for the opposite reason Rhodizite got pushed, just showing, yet again, that The Superior is a bitch.

Being put away from grace eternally because of something (mostly) out of your control is something that surely is traumatic.

Every demon is traumatized. And they react differently. I think the demons that represent sins choose to be what their sins represent, because they fell from heaven because of this, at least most of them might do this.

Well, muppet said that once she was friends with Aqua, and that may explain lot about their characters. Imagine expending centuries doing nothing other than torture humans? Just like the alpha trolls from h*mestuck, they became shadows of their past selves.

As time goes, she became more toxic and insufferable, just like her peers. And she crossed the line. She manipulated people in fragile situations, and even made Opal fall in love with her, and controlled her because of her powers.

She must have her reasons, but the reason I know for all this manipulation is because of Jade. All the demons wanted to have their share of 'human fun' like jade.

But, here's the thing, Zircon loved Jade, but Jade already had someone in her heart. Zircon always got what she wanted. But not this time, and that made her go beserk.

(Also she is probably the reason why 2ircon is so fucked up??? Like, girl, I love you, but WTF???)

I just think that, even if we know just a little bit about her, she seems to me an amazing and morally interesting character.
