Note: Yes this is a drabble, no it’s not fleshed out, I’m still working on my writers block but in the meantime I can post skeleton of stories. I definitely want to make a full bodyguard!AU of genshin men. Not sure if this has been done before?

Imagine, Bodyguard!Xiao protecting you. Your father had to hire him after your last one quit due to your bratty, troublesome behavior. Right away, Xiao learned why your former bodyguard quit.

You’re fiery and a bit of a bratty-troublemaker who likes to get in trouble just for fun. The first time he turned his back for one moment you were gone. He had to search for several minutes until he spotted you in a book store. He already got a message from his boss that you had to be home for a photo shoot.

Since you ran off, you were already late. He bickers with you until he grabs your upper arm and tugs you out with him looking like a pouting child being dragged out of a toy store by their parents. He pushed you into the car and sat up front with the chauffeur.

You were trying to start an argument, but Xiao kept calm, turning up the radio instead to drown you out. They finally arrived home and before Xiao could open your door for you, you were already storming out towards the door.

He recognizes another security guard at the door he hates with a burning passion; Ajax. He prefers to go by his code name Tartaglia as stupid as it sounded.

Later that night, he went outside for a cigarette break when he spotted you trying to sneak out the same door he’s standing by. You were clearly dressed to go clubbing judging by the lack of covering clothing. He tells you to go back inside but you threaten him that your father would not be pleased to see her bodyguard smoking on the deck.

He points out he could tell your father about what happened earlier today and why you were so late. You huff and try to go past him, but he grabs your arm. You rip your arm out of his grip and glared at him, calling him a pervert and other insulting names.

When he warns you that he’ll carry you inside over his shoulder if he has to, you make a run for it. Xiao quickly throws his cigarette in the ash tray and run after you. You’re fast and know your way around the forest area but when you arrive to the gate and try to climb up he catches you. He grabs your waist and yanks you off sending you crashing into his chest.

You squirm and kick and struggle, regretting not going to your self defense lessons. Xiao’s grip never falters, even as you go lax in his arms, out of breath. You could feel his hot breaths blow against your neck and his chest heaving from the run. When he finally determines you gave up, he tosses you over his shoulder and carries you back home well you cuss him out and resume your struggle.

He nods at Aether and Diluc standing watch in the main lobby and they sigh disappointedly at your demands for them to help you. He opens your door and none-to-gently tosses you onto the bed. You snarl at him and throws one of your plushies at his head, but he easily caught it.

He goes to your personal balcony doors you left wide open and close them for you before tugging the curtains close. He asks if you wanted anything and you get up about to slap him. He grabs your wrist and yanks you close, tilting your chin up with his fingers.

“Behave.” He ordered, leaving you flustered.

Xiao coldly wished you a good night before leaving, shutting the door behind him…
