[230919] sooyaaa__: The Blackpink Born Pink World Tour which started on October 15th and 16th 2022 and ended on September 16th and 17th 2023! 🖤💖 When tour started we were half excited to meet Blinks we hadn't seen in a long time, and half worried about whether we would be able to do well. We are so thankful to all the Blinks in every country who enjoyed it with us, I love you all! 💓 It was an honor to perform at big stages such as Coachella and BST in between tour dates. Also, I was happy because my first solo album was released and I was able to perform my solo songs at a concert! 🌹 As this tour left behind so many memories, it was great to finish it in Seoul where it started. I also want to say thank you and I love you to our Blackpink members who finished the tour in good health! ❤️ To Team Blackpink who have been with us all year! I am so thankful and proud of all our performance staff, stylists and dancers! 👍🏻👏🏻👍🏻👏🏻 And to our Blinks!!! Thank you for always being with us and making Blackpink happy! I was happy! if a lyric is just in the adlibs/backing vocals and it’s not labelled in the official lyrics, would it need to credit anyone as having been sampled? my guess is not, but it’s just interesting bc i was listening to fire and one of the lines right after vernon’s verse, during the prechorus, he says ‘say it back, say it back ditto’ (at least i think?) which is amusing because new jeans ditto, right?

amusing bc that does also give a vague idea as to the time of recording/writing of the song. but then again the whole idubilu thing too. idk now i’m curious bc the only credits i saw? on lyrics? were bumzu woozi hhu. i’ll check my copy of fml when i’m back home but idk i’m curious now

your sudden question takes wonwoo by surprise, and he lowers his phone to look over at you. you’d been reading before, curled against his side, but at some point you must’ve put the book down — because now you’re gazing at him with an unexpected question and earnest eyes.

he takes a moment. “fate? like, everything happens for a reason, that kind of thing?”

you consider, tilting your head to the side. “maybe. but i mean more like pre-destiny, you know?” a pause. “like you and me, maybe?” you say, softer, more unsure. “do you think we were always meant to be?”

a small smile lifts wonwoo’s lips, and he drapes a loose arm over you. “what brought this on?” he asks curiously. he loves the way your mind works, he thinks, and he wants to know all of you. everything you’re willing to show him.

you shrug, glancing away and back. “just thinking.”

“well,” he continues, after a moment — his eyes drifting off somewhere past you, as he thinks. “i’d like to think we chose each other. on purpose. maybe fate plays into that,” he adds, “but either way; i love you on purpose.”

that makes you smile, a soft, sentimental smile. “i like that,” you say, almost shy in your delight. “on purpose.”

then you clap your hands gently over his cheeks, giggling as you do it: “i love you on purpose, jeon wonwoo!”
