Don't burn cinnamon or cassia. I know it smells delicious. I know it has the cleansing power we all dream of. But cinnamon is a SEVERE respiratory irritant. Even if your lungs are healthy, it can cause lung scarring. If your lungs are less than flawless? Disaster.

That includes cinnamon oil.

Cinnamon scented candles are fine, because they're stabilized.

Heating cinnamon or cinnamon oil up is fine.

Just don't burn it.

Bonus Tip: don't put cinnamon on your skin. ESPECIALLY NOT CINNAMON OIL. We use cinnamon oil to strip varnish from furniture. Back in ye olde days of the 2010s, people mixed cinnamon powder with water to give themselves a facial peel. They peeled their flesh right off! Cinnamon can give you third degree chemical burns.

Astro Observations - Placements I Adore

Sagittarius placements - I have to admit I have a soft spot for all the mutable placements out there, but Sag... especially Moon and/or Mercury/Mars... y'all are insanely intuitive (big plus if you ask me), courageous, open minded (unless the native is unevolved and choosing the "I'm the only one who knows the truth so let me impose it on you" path), and just generally such a great vibe. I've always strugged to put my admiration for this energy into words because it's just... so great ugh

1st/7th/10th/11th house Venus - these people are generally so well-liked it's crazy. They have just the right type of natural charm about them that draws people in, and I'm here for it. They're charismatic, generally social and outgoing, and perceived in such a romantic light by the public.

Taurus and Leo placements - if you have both Taurus and Leo placements in your chart you've won the astrological lottery as long as I'm concerned. These two signs are each the culmination of something special - for Taurus, it's good taste, appreciation of nature, and food, animal love, fragrances. For Leo, it's creativity, joy, life, loyalty, and general warm infatuation with life - does this make sense to anybody else?

1st/4th/7th/10th house Mars or Saturn - Yes this energy isn't easy and needs a lot of attention and mastering from the native, so seeing it in full force, especially in someone who fully mastered it, is rare. BUT! An angular Mars or Saturn is so powerful and incredibly fascinating to observe. Tapping into this energy, if you happen to have it in your birth chart, is a game changer.

8th house Venus or Jupiter - They attract support and help with such ease. They get whatever they wish for. Others will easily show up for them whenever they need and they easily benefit from the people in their life (not in a manipulating type of way).

12th house Moon - another tough placement, however - once the native gets in touch with this energy and learns to use it for their benefit and spiritual growth, there's no stopping them. Possibly the most intuitive, spiritual, healing placement I have ever observed. They're in touch with their subconscious which makes any type of work on themselves much smoother.

Gemini placements - if you actually believe Geminis to be two-faced, you don't know what you're missing out on. The chameleons of the zodiac, these placements can talk their way out or into pretty much anything. They'll mirror your own energy back to you so maybe if you can't stand them it's time to do some inner work.

Prominent Neptune - dreamy, ethereal, spiritual, intuitive, poetic, and artistic - what more can I say?

Cancer Mercury - They'll intuitively know what you need and show up for you. They'll also destroy your life and burn your house to the ground if you cross them. Love that for them.

Virgo Sun - Virgos are underrated. I'm tired of all the neat-freak stereotypes, they carry such strong intellectual energy. They can easily get on top of most situations by simply following their instincts. They'll give you awesome advice based on the many rabbit holes they've gone through in the past five days online. They'll be there for you when you need them. Also, there's a strong sexual energy here I rarely see anyone talk about, so I could make a post about it if anyone's interested.

♥ Astro Observations Because I Finally Got a New Job ♥

・❥・I have found that people with a mixture of earth and air gravitate towards video games with a personal/deeper meaning and the ability to control and customize. (Exp. The Sims, RPGs, Life is Strange and other interactive/decision based games.)

・❥・Moon Square Mercury would ask and say what everyone is thinking but afraid to do so

・❥・I have read that planets in the 0 degree of a sign are the personification of said sign but I have to disagree. A planet at such degree acts as two different signs, especially in terms of aspects. For example, someone has a Scorpio Sun and a Sagittarius Venus and a Mars in Taurus 0 degree. The Mars can be in opposition to the Sun and also in Trine with Venus, acting as both Aries and Taurus. 

・❥・ Because of that, I believe people who have placements at a 0 degree in a sign have the sign prior acting as a “shadow” or rather a preface. I have a friend that has a Cap moon in that degree and he act initially as a Sag moon but the more you get to know him the Cap moon layers start to show.

・❥・North Node aspect (especially harsh) MC are true fighters. They’re like a gladiator, spending their life fighting battle after battle, facing one problem after the other. Please don’t give up! Your purpose in life is to pave the way and fight for a bigger purpose. You got it babes.

・❥・Jupiter return is underrated. It resembles your expansion and growth into the next stage of life, your breakthrough that proceeds your Saturn return. It is the time you have to finally learn the lessons of life, make things right, putting things into perspective, grow smarter and wiser before your Saturn knocks on the door.

・❥・Fixed risings looking at people like this:

・❥・People with Chiron Conjunct Uranus/Pluto or in the 8th house/10th house/11th house will heal and transform by helping others heal and transform. 

・❥・The Water Mars motto is “Catch feelings and throw hands”. The definition of a lover and a fighter.

・❥・I have noticed that Leos don’t like other Leos and Cancers don’t like other Cancers. 

・❥・Although Air signs are associated with being progressive and Earth signs are associated with being Traditional (Referring specifically to Sun and Moon), I have known and seen far more Earth signs being progressive, open and actively seek out ways to give back to their community. Air Suns and Moons, not so as much. They have a more self focused sense of support, as they mainly align with groups/parties/individuals that they share a similar background or current status with. (I know not everyone but I am just saying).

・❥・Not a new one, but people fit the “stereotype” of their Moon signs over the Sun. (Considering that their Sun sign isn’t in other personal planets)

・❥・I never understood the sexualizing of Scorpio and Scorpio placements. Why do they have to be some quiet mysterious nerd by day and a dark leather edge master in an underground sex dungeon by night. 

・❥・ A highly aspected Moon/ the Moon being the most aspected in the chart is an indication of a very emotional and sensitive person (Whether they show it or not).

Low Energy Witchcraft

I'm neurodivergent and i experience really intense burnout. I get to a point where I struggle to even get out of bed, take my meds, remember to drink water, let alone practice. But, when I want to practice i have a list of things i can usually do. Everyone's experiences with burn out/low energy are different so this list may not apply to you, and that's okay. Take what resonates, leave what doesn't and i hope you enjoy my silly little list :)

create a playlist and infuse it with an intention. eg, a money spell playlist filled with songs about wealth.

draw sigils with soap when in the shower. (you can also use a wet wipe if you can't shower)

found some juice? give it a little shake and use the ingredients as a spell.

have food that has grains as ingredients? wow! an abundance spell!

the classic add intention to your tea and coffee.

bind your hair. for me with is as simple as putting my hair in a ponytail.

watch a witchy video. while not technically practising witchcraft, sometimes all you need is to sit back and relax to connect with your practice.

when I have a decent amount of energy I'll grab a large pillar candle and carve sigils into it. I use it as a long-term spell; all I have to do to activate it is light the candle. I like to light one of these spell candles when I'm having a bad day.

if you're religious, pray. Even if you're lying in bed. Even if you haven't showered in a week. If it makes you happy and you can, do it

burn some insence! it smells good, you don't have to really worry about forgetting about it, it's good for cleansing. it's great!

take a nap with some crystals. any restorative crystals or calming crystals work great! just make sure that they aren't geodes or roughs. i'd hate for you to hurt yourself while sleeping.

if you don't have any crystals for your nap, set an intention instead. please let yourself rest.

It's important to remember that you're allowed to take breaks from your craft. If you're forcing yourself to practice when you have no energy because "that's what a good witch would do!" then you're probably going to make your situation worse. it's a great way to fall out of love with witchcraft. give yourself some grace. rest is infinitely more important than 1 full moon, 1 new moon, or missing your daily/weekly/monthly cleanse. You aren't a bad person if you don't pull your morning tarot card or check the astrology forecast for today. and you aren't a bad person if you miss your daily prayer. take care of yourself. your health is WAY more important than your craft. Go get a drink of water and take care of yourself <3

Cancer Rising can have the iris close to the inner corner of the eye.

Lilith in the 2nd house makes the face very sexy while Lilith in the 1st house makes the body sexy.

Capricorn Risings have the corner of the lips pointing downwards. Their appearance can sometimes give the impression of being dissatisfied unless they have strong Venus influence.

Taurus Mars usually have gorgeous skin. They look smooth almost like they have been airbrushed. Also a natural sensuality to them.

Gemini and Sagittarius Risings looks so good in glasses and bangs.

I know Ive said it a thousand times but Lilith Square Ascendant gives such an intimidating look. Think a naked person in a haunted house. Lol thats how I describe this placement.

Mars in the 1st house can give very noticeable hair, but I also noticed it can give someone drier hair even if nobody in the family got dry hair.

People with Lilith in the 4th house/Cancer might want a boobjob. They can be very insecure about their breasts.

Mars conjunct Midheaven can give very strong bone structure, for example Angelina Jolie.

Ptah(5011) conjunct Ascendant gives a beautiful face. Ptah was even called ”Ptah the beautiful face” or ”Benevolent of face”.

Libra Rising/Venus in the 1st or 2nd house can give a very prominent cupids bow.

A lot of Aries Risings have a widows peak.

A lot of Aries Risings also have a shape to the nose and eyebrows that makes them look like the symbol of Aries.

People with Neptune aspecting personal planets look like someone sprayed glow mist on them. A natural glow to the skin almost like a filter.

A lot of Scorpio Risings have a very square nose for example Justin Bieber.

Cancer Risings can have a sneaky, shifty look to the eyes. Especially those with the rounder face. Those with the oblong face usually have a more innocent look.

Cancer and Taurus Risings can have a deer look with very round eyes and long eyelashes.

10th house and Capricorn placements might have teeth that stands out, very likely to have braces at some point in their life.

Scorpio Rising can give very pointy eyebrows that looks naturally plucked.

Scorpio placements can also create a lot of shadows in the face making the face more mysterious. Especially around the eyes.

Libra Risings/Venus 1st house can have a mouth thats always slightly open or the corner of the mouth point upwards so that it looks like they are always smiling.

Scorpio Placements have a hard time with scarhealing. If they get a scar from an accident or acne it can stay for the rest of their lives unless they treat it. Thats also why they are so vindictive lol, even their physical body gets over stuff slowly.

Dainty(9758) conjunct Ascendant makes someone look delicate. Can also make someone look petite.

Ive seen a lot of Cancer Risings have a mole near the nasolabial fold.

Virgo Risings have a ”out of this world” beauty too just like Pisces Risings.

Virgo & Capricorn influence can make someone very petite.

Lilith 2nd house have very beautiful and attractive lips. Can have a beautiful shape and a darker tone to the lips almost like they have lipstick or lipliner.

Aquarius Risings have such beautiful arms and legs.

Venus 8th house have nice ”holes” so their reproductive organs, anus, lips, nosestrils and eyes are good looking.

Aphrodite(1388) conjunct Mars can give really long eyelashes. For example Tupac who got this placement.

Leo Risings have this naughty look almost like they are slightly laughing at you.

Capricorn Risings get pigment spots very easily. They have very sensitive skin.

People with strong Neptune influence can have bigger eyelids that cover half of their eye. Depends on cultural background too ofc. For example Marilyn Monroe who got Neptune in the 1st house and her famous half closed eyes look.

Venus 1st house people usually have a beauty mark somewhere, for example beyonce who have it beside one of her eyebrows. My sister with Venus in the 1st house have the exact same one.

Jupiter in the 1st house can give a curved body shape no matter how skinny you are you look curvy.

Ceres 1st house, Virgo Rising and Cancer Risings can have a protruding belly.

Ceres 1st house can also make someone look very plump and cute like Marilyn Monroe.

Capricorn placements have hair that looks styled even if its not. Ive noticed that with so many Cap Sun. Even if they dont give a shit about their hair it looks like they had a professional cut. Same with Cap men and their beard.

The religious argument that people can't possibly be trans because God cannot make mistakes has always been a weird one to me, because who's to say God didn't intend on making somebody trans?

My dad put it best; for some reason or another, God sometimes decides to give his children specific experiences, and being trans is an experience. He doesn't make mistakes, so being trans isn't a mistake. What is a mistake is forcing his children to think they are a mistake.
