Genuinely emotional that Whitby sees your friend and mine the Demeter captain for the hero he was, even though pinning the crew's deaths on him would seem to explain the evidence. I didn't realise I was worried he'd be mistakenly branded a multiple murderer in death until the Correspondent brought it up as a possibility, and I am very glad the possibility was dispelled literally the next sentence because that would have been a horrible thing to dwell on
