Happy Podcast Girls Week!

@podcastgirlsweek is a weeklong fandom event centered around women in audio drama! Over in the Discord, we'll be chatting about our favorite podcast gals all this week - stop on by and join in the conversation if you get a chance! 💐
First and only repeat casting announcement! Saffron is so good we simply had to cast her twice.
"Everyone talks about coping strategies. I haven’t found mine yet."
Orsa, the Trophy – played by Saffron Coomber

In your benevolence, the Trophy appeals for Disappointment at the dig.
@merelymatt says, on the page, this episode is the most me – out of the whole season, she's the most embarrassed to want, embarrassed to ask. It's not me any more though – now the character belongs 100% to Saffron, who discovered the crystal core of determination and resolve I didn't know was there, under the shyness and the hedging.
I do says this. I do.
"They can clearly all see something. There must be something to see. I just need to see it too."
Wrenfrew, the Observer – played by Nathan @theneoncaster Blades

In your benevolence, the Observer pleads for The meaning of Low Extremes.
@merelymatt says, Nathan takes a character in the middle of a class and social anxiety spiral – and makes you want to join them there. If that isn't what the tumblr audio drama luvvies want, then I don't know what is.
"I like my room better, but I wish it didn’t have to have a monster in."
Jenjie, the Child – played by Lizzie Waterworth

In your benevolence, the Child wishes for Courage, and a reprieve.
@merelymatt says, Lizzie is an immortal, timeless voice wizard. I thought I might've made things difficult for casting director Fiona by writing a very young character, but she knew exactly who to call. I don't know what vocal alchemy Lizzie practises to be able to sound convincingly like a five-year-old but I'm thankful for it! As well as what the Child is actually asking for, there's a kind of implicit yearning for approval, for a parent figure to tell them they're good, which I didn't know was there until I heard it in Lizzie's performance. I'm calling it now: this one is going to make Dave from @merelyroleplayers cry.
