I think BOTH Jared and Jensen are such phenomenal actors that could do anything but Jared's acting is so understated since that's who that character is and Jensen's is more in your face as to who Dean is that so much of the fandom just doesn't get that what Jared does with Sam is every bit as good and every bit as important as what Jensen does. In Fact a lot of Dean's moments wouldn't work without the way Jared played Sam. Plus my god, when Jared is given a moment to shine... I get physically exhausted watching Sam in the institution in season seven, his physical and emotional exhaustion so apparent, and there are so many scenes that take my breath away. Just as there is for Dean/Jensen. When the boys talk about working together and how they work off each other and how they make each other better it's not lip service, you can SEE it. I don't understand why some fans think it's a competition and if they like one they have to dislike and put down the other. J2 are BOTH integral to this show, it's quality, it's legacy and to say one sucked or wasn't a good actor is damn shortsighted. I've heard it said in comedy that it's harder to play the straight man and he's also the most overlooked but equally important piece of the puzzle and when it comes to spn (despite what a a certain chunk of the fandom thinks) that holds true here as well. Anyway just wanted to throw that out into the eather since it's been on my mind. A lot. Oh and since I can't not say it Jensen holds me in the palm of his hand in everything I've ever seen him in as well.

This is my first 5th November in the fandom. So, here's my contribution to the tragedy. Sniff.

I used soft pastels, pastel pencils and then charcoal pencil. It wasn’t really working for me until I started using the pinky-red pastel pencil and somehow that just worked. So sad! Poor Dean. Poor Cas. Must read/write happy fanfic.
