This is generally directed to people in my inbox who ask for life advice - Once you realize being a beginner is incredibly awesome and exciting and you’re on this earth to do things and interact w ppl everything shifts. Be awkward be bad I sincerely just view all of life as a fun game of practice where I get to try random things even if it’s like painting a wall or figuring out public transportation or talking to someone I don’t know. It’s all about the experience and if I’m “bad” or make a mistake or feel awkward at a party it’s all good because I’m learning

I often have to remind myself I don't want a smooth perfect existence and that even infinite comfort becomes uncomfortable - a truly good life in my eyes has challenges, forgiveness, fear, and heart wide open moments again and again and if I got all the ease I ever wanted the moment I asked for it, I wouldn't really be here
