I know I say this a lot, but please listen to your body and what you need. Sometimes a to do list needs to be thrown out of the window, and the overall planning ahead must change a bit. You will be alright. If it is rest you need, then please rest. If it is going outside you need, please go for a walk. If you need company, then see someone, but if you cannot see anyone, call a friend or do a facetime hang (watching a movie like that is actually fun). Ask yourself what you truly need and listen for the answer, and go with the answer that feels right to you. It is hard to listen to ourselves, but I find it is too something that gets easier with practice. 🌸

life doesn’t end at 25. life doesn’t end at 27 or 30 either. life doesn’t end at 35 or 45. life doesn’t end at 65. it doesn’t matter how old you are, when you decide to get your high school degree or start a family. it doesn’t matter when you decide to go run a marathon or go travel the world. life is not made up by numbers, age is, and your age is not all that you are. you got time. life doesn’t end until it ends.

There is no such thing as a good reason to commit suicide. Now, I don’t mean to push my beliefs on any of you and, frankly, I can’t force you to see things the way I do anyway. In my eyes, it’s a fact that suicide just can’t be an option. Maybe that’s a bit hypocritical, but I can tell you that there’s no doubt in my mind.

Suicide can never be an option.

Please, for the love of all that is good, believe that suicide is never the option and can never be an option. It can’t be an option. Nobody is born into this world alone and nobody will leave it that way either. There’s always somebody to talk to, something that can ease your pain even if it can’t be erased. Nobody deserves to feel that kind of pain and I’m so, so sorry if you do, but hurting yourself isn’t an option. I’m gonna stop before I get too preachy, but please, don’t do anything that you or your loved ones will regret happening.

Reach out if you wanna talk or there’s anything I can do to help. And here’s the suicide hotline number to speak to a professional: 1-800-273-8255
