Watched the horrible minecraft movie trailer </3 My friends and I decided to make this stupid thing while suffering Bingo to find out how bad that movie is actually going to be

twitter has actual white supremacists and racists with tens of thousands of followers posting evil shit without any consequence but if you make something as unforgivably cringe as a silly harmless cute video about a 3D cat singing an MF DOOM song you will have 250 "woke" teens QRTing you calling you a cracker and jokingly(?) calling for the death of all white people

i made this song as a commission for the soundtrack of a newgrounds animation which i never actually watched because to be honest it was kind of dogshit and i mainly just enjoyed making the song

guy was really mad when i asked for the timestamp where my song was featured because i didn't actually want to watch the whole thing and he passive-agressively told me "ill tell you where to find it: WATCH THE ANIMATION :)"

i still haven't watched it lmao

i also lost the project file so if i ever want to make it again i'll have to transcribe this audio file and that includes the complex chord progression/structure FUCK

would make a good joker theme (more along the lines of batman 89/btas joker obv)

that time i got commissioned to do music for a game in some discord server but i didn't care enough to come up with my own idea so i just stole one of the original midis off of HamieNet and changed the instruments

how 2 toby fox:

>make song with 90s videogame soundfonts

>add duplicates of the songs tracks but this time with "high quality" soundfonts (often SGM or Touhou soundfont) >especially for the drums

>add some chiptuney sounding synth

>dip the whole thing in some basic ass compression + reverb

>fiddle with volume/panning knobs till it sounds good

there, its as shrimple as that

(the catch is you have to actually be good at writing good sounding songs and remember to somehow stretch 4 leitmotifs into an entire soundtrack with high-level music theory fuckery, but dont worry you're allowed to take inspiration toby did a fuckton of that, "great artists steal" and all that)
