Nestled in a forest in the middle of the human realm sits the entrance to a kingdom few know about. Step inside, won't you? You have almost nothing to fear.

O P E N // (sprinkle - Fae Prince)
o p e n // (sprinkle - fae prince)
It had been announced to the village that morning. A wedding. A royal wedding. There were songs in the streets, magic floating through the air in motes and spells and celebrations on every corner. the Kingdom rejoiced, learning that their eldest prince, the future King, was to marry at last. That there was to be such joy in the family, such promise of a long, long future. In the palace, the chatter and celebration continued. Even those in the know, those who knew the marriage was arranged, celebrated the promise of a fruitful partnership.
But Sprinkle, did not. There was no joy in his heart, no smile on his lips. There was no hope for a future. There was only heartbreak, a deep seated ache in his stomach, and eyes filled with hot, salty tears as he looked up at his older brother's betrothed. He always tried to be understanding, to appear unaffected... but it was too late for that now.
"Did you know? That this was going to happen? Did you know you were going to marry him when you made me believe you loved me?"

O P E N
to; any plot; namu is a forest guardian, and a guardian of the border between the fae and human realms. he is normal in appearance until magic is used. your muse is too close to the border, the reason is up to you!
The tree thrummed with life and love and magick as Namu rested against it's bark. It supported him, sheltered him, breathed through him and because of him and with him. It's leaves rustled their excitement at his presence, their pride at being chosen as his resting place, the trunk welcoming the familiarity like the old friends they were. Deep in the forest of trees, where the growth was at it's thickest and most lush, it's most green and vibrant, Namu was at one with his surroundings as ever before.
The figure before him, however, was not. He could feel the veil between this world and the fae world pulsing a warning, vibrating with the anticipation and the fear of something unwelcome and unknown. And so it was time for the guardian to speak. To do his duty.
"You're awfully far from the trail," he tutted, eyes bright and searching - and if the leaves rustled just a little louder? Who was to say for certain? "Let me turn you in the right direction. Your first clue, is that it is not the one you are currently going in."
