Cuprella is comically obsessed with Cuphead. He doesn’t like her back at all but he’s too intimidated by her extensive knife collection and overall threatening demeanor to tell her outright.

However, she’s extremely good-natured at heart and would be completely fine if he said he didn’t like her. She’s just not good at all at gaging how other people feel. Over time she grew into more of her own character and not just a parody of the lack of studio creativity or self-inserts.
