Man, Chuck Todd is going in on Kansas Senator Roger Marshall on the topic of COVID Mandates. If we listen 2 Chuck, unvaccinated employees should pay 4 their health care, & America's overall Quality of Life would B improved if Everyone were vaccinated... Really? For The Record, COVID Vaccines have been effective in reducing hospitalization & death, but more & more vaccinated individuals R contracting the COVID Virus.

I think it's fearmongering on the part of Chuck Todd & his Media Pals, when they push COVID vaccines as an End All Solution 2 reopening American Society. Despite the Mandates, COVID Testing & Masking R still necessary. If this is the case, why aren't Testing & Masking part of the Federal & State Protocols being pushed? The National Narrative is how the unvaccinated R fueling the spread, but No One speaks about Super Spreader Events kicked off by vaccinated crowds ignoring Social Distancing & Masking protocols.

Ironically, Chuck Todd came off like a bully in his interview w/ Sen. Marshall. He's pushing Dr. Fauci's Talking Points, but Sen. Marshall was right- Mandates aren't working. If we look @ COVID from a global perspective, more countries R looking @ how 2 'Live w/ COVID'. Norway, Sweden, & Singapore R talking 'Endemic', & Israel is paying attention. If vaccines don't stop infection anymore than masking & social distancing, why R vaccines getting Top Billing? Is Big Pharma's advertising budget on Shows like Chuck Todd's the reason?

A 26Yr veteran of the Police Force, charged w/ training Officers, simply has NO EXCUSE. Blackfolk/ ADOS R all 2 familiar w/ the role that sobbing White Women, crying 'crocodile tears' played in the lynching of thousands of Black Men over the last 145Yrs. So 'Jim Crow Joe' asked The Press Corp. if anyone could think of a President that accomplished more than he has in his 1st Yr... Seriously?! Dude MUST B going senile. Franklin Delano Roosevelt accomplished more in his 1st 11 Days in Office, than 'Jim Crow Joe', OR 'Donnie 2 Scoops'. Does anyone remember The New Deal? I don't know what that legislation is worth in 2day's dollars, but it brought America out of The Great Depression. FDR did it by TAXING THE WEALTHY...

It was by No Means fair- most of Black America was locked out of this 'Hand Up', but what else is new? Back then, The Black Family was more cohesive, & We were able 2 rise out of The Great Depression on Our Own Merits (Black Banks, Businesses, & Land Ownership). 2day, Our Collective Assets R just a fraction of what they were 100Yrs ago, by No Fault of Ours. 'Jim Crow Joe' is old enough 2 know FDR's Legacy. This 'Selective Memory' problem in America won't shield them from The Truth, bcuz We have EXCELLENT Memory Recall.

Colin Powell: A Legacy of Complexity

I wasn't going to speak on the passing of Colin Powell, but I am compelled by the incomplete narrative being pushed by Mainstream Media. If U follow their account, Colin Powell was an American Success Story. He was a Bronx Native, born of Jamaican Immigrants, that enrolled in ROTC @ College, & joined The Army after graduating from City College of New York. He climbed through the Ranks over The Years, gaining prominence as Chair of The Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Administrations of George H.W. Bush (41) & Bill Clinton; later as Secretary of State under George W. Bush (43).

As Secretary Of State, he is credited w/ pushing the (false) claim that Saddam Hussein & Iraq were hiding 'Weapons Of Mass Destruction'. Powell himself referred to this incident as a 'blot' on his Record. His name was tossed around as a potential candidate for President back in 1995, but Conservatives were conflicted, & Powell declined overtures before they became a formal nomination. He declared himself a Republican shortly after... Colin Powell fits the classic mold of The Black Republican- Moderate Conservative, but raised eyebrows when he supported Barack Obama in 2008 against John McCain & again in 2012 against Mit Romney.

In the years preceding his death, Secretary Powell ironically enjoyed popularity in Progressive Circles, as a result of his critique of Republican Politics. He supported Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016, & Joe Biden in 2020. Following the Insurrection of Jan. 6th, Secretary Powell declared that he was no longer a Republican... His death is being attributed to 'complications' w/ COVID 19. His Family also cite Secretary Powell's ongoing battle w/ Parkinson's & Multiple Myeloma as contributing factors.

Mainstream Media are united in their praise of Colin Powell. He is being lauded by Republicans & Democrats alike for His Style of leadership- The Powell Doctrine, His laid back demeanor, & even tones of speech. The Truth of The Matter, is Colin Powell was a Great Soldier. He followed Orders, even when he disagreed w/ them, & was rewarded w/ promotions in Rank, up to 4 Star General. Willie D caught my attention when he noted that anyone that is liked by Everyone, needs to be scrutinized. Gen. Powell is called a Great Tactician, but what were the circumstances?

As a Black American/ ADOS, I am conflicted w/ Secretary Powell's Legacy. On the surface, his resume is impressive:

4 Star General

Assistant Secretary Of Defense

1st Black & Youngest Chair of Joint Chiefs of Staff

1st Black Head of National Security Council

1st Black Secretary Of State

His Net Worth of $60M at the time of his death shows that he was also successful in 'Retirement'. Remember, this is on The Surface. When We dig a little, We see that Colin Powell was actually a Sledge Hammer for American Hegemony & White Supremacy. His cool, calm, collected demeanor & speech imply that he was a willing participant in advancing The American Agenda.

Maybe it's just Me, but it seems like over the last 100+ Yrs- since Our Great Grandfathers returned from WW 1 & Our Grandfathers returned from WW 2, The American Government has been working overtime to dirty the Collective 'Hands' of Black America/ ADOS in the Hearts & Minds of the rest of The World. Black American Soldiers touched The World w/ their Acts of Bravery, Displays of Valor, & Moral Sense of Justice. 100Yrs later, Our Music, Dance, & Art/ Fashion STILL mesmerizes Them. In this light, The Legacy of Colin Powell becomes complicated.

Secretary Powell, by his own admission calls the UN 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' Speech a "blot" on his Record. Looking @ his 'Record', I see a Pattern of Behavior more than an implied 'hiccup'. During his time in Vietnam, Powell was accused of attempting to whitewash details of the My Lai Massacre of March 1968, where American Soldiers killed up to 500 Vietnamese Women, Children, & Elderly. While investigating the account of another Soldier, Powell was quoted as saying: "In direct refutation of this portrayal is the fact that relations between American Soldiers & The Vietnamese People are excellent". News Correspondents on the scene disagreed w/ him.

Under The Reagan Administration, General Powell served as a Point Man in Central America. He referred to himself as: "The Chief Administration Advocate" [for The Contras]. Oliver North reported to him. He is personally responsible for tens of thousands of deaths in The Region, but suffered little to no fallout for his role. Under The Bush (41) Administration, Gen. Powell spearheaded The Invasion of Panama that decimated Afro- Latino neighborhoods, but left nearby Wealthy neighborhoods untouched. He later played a major role w/ Desert Storm & Desert Shield in Iraq.

When Black America/ ADOS looks @ The Legacy of Colin Powell, We have to include his role in destabilizing Sovereign Nations of Black & Brown People in Afrika, Arabia, & Latin America. The survivors of those attacks consider him a War Criminal, on par w/ Caspar Weinberger & Dick Cheney. He is credited w/ using the term 'genocide' to describe the turmoil in Sudan, but he is also responsible for destroying their only Pharmaceutical Plant. Sudan's inability to produce Antiparasitics led to the death of thousands of livestock animals, creating a food shortage that exacerbated the hardship of the Southern Sudanese.

What catches my attention, are the similarities between Colin Powell & Barack Obama. Both are the children of immigrants, both are Moderate Conservatives & they share a similar 'laid back' style of engagement. While Secretary Powell was a 'good soldier', Barack appears to be a 'good student'. Both involve following direction. In Colin Powell, I can see a sort of prototype of Obama. There is a consistency of Style between them. A guest on 'The Jimmy Dore Show' pointed out how Secretary Powell started destabilization in Libya, but President Obama finished it.

Both have a Public Persona that hides a darker side. Remember, America is intent on tarnishing the Global Image of Black America. To that end, Colin Powell is The Sledge Hammer, & Barack Obama is The Manchurian Candidate. No other President has dropped more bombs than Barack Obama. In the same vein, Colin Powell was instrumental in 'modernizing' how the American Military engages potential adversaries. We cannot overlook Secretary Powell's role in the Proxy Wars of Central & South America & the destabilization of El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Venezuela, Columbia, & Panama.

When speaking on his Legacy, We have to include Secretary Powell's role in the creation of Narco States, the rise of groups like MS- 13, & the proliferation of Crack Cocaine in Black/ ADOS Communities Nationwide. Hindsight is 20- 20, so We can see how America propped up a few Black individuals as 'exceptional', while using those same individuals to marginalize The Group. Secretary Powell may have been The First, but he is certainly not The Last.
