Hello everyone! Small update here, my health has been getting worse so I'll be taking a short break to focus on healing. I might post sporadically or be radio silent, I'm not sure what I'll be able to do. Thank you so much for all the support on my posts, it's been crazy! Love you guys, and can't wait to be back and feeling better with tons of fluffy tatsujun headcanons for you all. <3

Most nights Tatsuya has an easy time falling asleep. Sometimes though, he can't help but be kept up by his own racing thoughts.

The best nights are when he gets to call Jun. Ever the night owl, he's usually up studying or reading one of his books. Just hearing his voice, knowing that he's there, soothes something inside Tatsuya.

His favorite is when Jun plays the organ for him. A gentle melody, still beautiful to Tatsuya's ears despite the sound quality. Picturing Jun's peaceful face as he plays... It's easy to fall asleep as it plays throughout the night, Jun not stopping till the sound of Tatsuya's snores gets louder than the organ.

Eventually, he'd perhaps get to hear it in person. Sitting on the piano bench next to Jun, watching as he plays. Playing is like second nature to him at this point, almost as easy as breathing. It doesn't take long for him to end up resting his head against Jun's, his eyelids getting heavy...

Jun always stops him before he falls asleep though. He made that mistake once, and found himself with Tatsuya passed out on the floor (as he fell off the bench when Jun moved), unable to get him to wake up and far too weak to carry him. He settled for a pillow under his head and a blanket to keep him warm.

Tatsuya doesn't say "I love you" out loud that often.

Most of the time, he shows it through actions as simple as "Have you been drinking enough water?" or, "Are you eating well?" He tries to act cool about it, but when it comes to Jun he's just as much of a worry-wart as Katsuya.

Other times, it's the way he remembers the little details. Reminding Jun of the constellation he wanted to see tonight, even though he brought it up over a month ago. Or memorizing the meanings of the flowers Jun wears most often. Smiling at the way Jun's face lights up because he remembered.

In private, it's how affectionate he gets. Tatsuya may not be one for PDA, but he won't pass up an opportunity to hold Jun in the comfort of their own home. Some days he smothers him in kisses... Others he'll just press their faces together affectionately (like the lions do!) Every so often, when they're in a more crowded place he'll grab Jun's hand. He swears up and down it's just so they don't get separated... Jun's smile and the way his cheeks turn pink is just a bonus.

The words "I love you" don't leave Tatsuya's mouth that often... But Jun cannot deny his Leo is as passionate as ever.

"You don't have to say anything, Tatsuya. I'm not leaving your side."

As is the case with most tatsujun fans, I cannot get this line out of my head. Something about Jun reassuring Tatsuya gets to me. Is it remnants of their childhood together? Was Tatsuya a clingier child than we realize? I also can't help but think of Eikichi's line... "The Ta-chan I knew then was a lot more energetic... It's probably our fault you became so distant." The idea of Jun recognizing how he's closed himself off out of fear... Telling him it's okay, that he doesn't need to be vulnerable with him right away. Jun will love him no matter what.

I can't help but imagine the day Jun hears those words out loud, "Please be with me forever." The mix of joy and sadness he feels... Of course, he's happy to know Tatsuya feels that way. That he wants a lifetime spent by his side just as badly as Jun wants it... But at the same time, that silly goose should know by now that Jun's not going anywhere! Home is where the heart is, and his lies with Tatsuya.

tatsujun pet names

I can't stop thinking about tatsujun pet names...

Tatsuya would obviously love Tacchi... I think he'd also enjoy being called handsome too. Jun leaning over Tatsuya's shoulder as he reads one of his magazines, Tatsuya feeling a kiss being pressed to his temple. "What do you want for dinner, handsome?" Looking up at Jun, who's towering over him for once, getting butterflies... Other than that, I think Jun would stick with typical pet names. Love, darling, sweetheart, ect.

I don't think Tatsuya would use pet names that often tbh. Especially in public.. In private he'd be a bit more open to being sweet on Jun, but he doesn't seem like the type to enjoy PDA to me. However, I can't help but love the idea of Tatsuya calling him his angel. Especially in the Innocent Sin timeline, where it'd be more ironic. But, he'd be Tatsuya's angel no matter what. I can see him occasionally using words like babe, doll, honeybun... Honeybun is the cutest tbh > . <
