YA'LL... So I was cleaning out some old stuff, and I came across my copy of The Legend of Korra: An Avatar's Chronicle. Then, I decided on a whim to read Lin's letter to Korra. Well, something gave me pause.

Why is Lin mentioning specifically visiting this random chef in her letter to Korra lmaoo? "Ridiculous (affectionate) chef," she says. Unless...

Here we have Lin attempting to act natural after Mako just called her out for "sleeping for 16 hours." Right... holed up in the guest house for 16 hours ;)

Keep in mind, the scene right after this is Lin sipping her kalenutsco. Before slipping out the back of the guest house, consider the chef saying, "Meet me in the dining room, bby grl, let's get you rehydrated."

Do you think Lin or Tenzin would have adopted Mako and Bolin had they known about them sooner?

Hmm... this is a tough one, because I feel like a certain set of circumstances would have to align for that to happen.

But, as a thought experiment, let's say Korra comes to Republic City 4 years earlier to train in airbending. Mako and Bolin are like 12 and 14 when they befriend Korra and become a part of team avatar.

I think Tenzin would definitely offer to let them stay at the air temple if he found out they were homeless. But this would be contingent on them "acting right" because he definitely would not tolerate shenanigans around his kids. And, as we see in the Republic City Hustle short, they got into quite a bit of that before staying with Toza.

As for Lin, she is too busy to take care of kids, and I think she has known that from the start due to growing up with a mom that was police chief.

Would you rather go without q-tips or toothpicks for the rest of your life and why?

Definitely toothpicks because I would just use a waterpik or something lol! Meanwhile, q-tips have too many practical uses like... idk cleaning thermal paste off a cpu... dusting small spaces... etc.
