Lycaon smoothly opens the restaurant door with a practiced motion and turns to offer his hand to his partner, a gentle smile on his face. "After you, my dear. A gentleman always serves his beloved," he says warmly. His partner laughs softly, accepting his hand, and responds, "You're always so considerate." As they walked through the crowded market, Lycaon subtly positioned himself between his partner and the bustling throng, his presence a silent shield. When they approached a particularly congested area, he placed a gentle hand on their lower back, guiding them safely through the crowd. Noticing his protective gesture, his partner glanced up with a soft smile. "You always know how to make me feel safe," they said. Lycaon smiled back, applying a reassuring pressure. "It's important to me that you're always protected," he replied warmly, nudging them toward a quieter corner while scanning the area to ensure their comfort and safety.

Lycaon approached his partner with a gentle smile, holding a bouquet of their favorite flowers behind his back. With a flourish, he revealed the vibrant blooms. "For you," he said tenderly, his gaze full of adoration. His partner's eyes widened in delight as they took the bouquet, the sweet scent filling their senses. "They're beautiful! What's the occasion?" they asked. Leaning in closer, Lycaon brushed his snout affectionately against their nose before nuzzling their cheek. "Just because I love you," he sweetly whispered. Seeing his partner blush, clearly touched by the heartfelt gesture, filled Lycaon with joy, his heart swelling at their happiness.
Intellectual Conversations: He values deep and meaningful conversations with his partner. Lycaon enjoys discussing literature, philosophy, and other intellectually stimulating topics. He listens intently and appreciates his partner's insights, often engaging in thoughtful debates and sharing his own perspectives.
The soft lighting illuminated the vibrant paintings around Lycaon and his partner as they strolled through the quiet halls of the art museum. Taking a moment to consider a particularly compelling piece, Lycaon leaned in slightly, his expression thoughtful. "The symbolism in this painting is fascinating," he said in a smooth, reflective voice. "The use of color and light by the artist to express emotion and depth is truly remarkable." His partner nodded, their eyes glowing with interest. "I love how the contrast between the shadows and light adds layers of meaning. Itâs almost like the painting tells a story without words." Lycaon smiled warmly, holding their hand gently in his. "I appreciate how you see these details. Your observations always provide me with a new layer of understanding I hadn't considered before. It's one of my favorite things about our conversations."
Expressive Affection: Despite his reserved nature, Lycaon is affectionate in his own way. He often expresses his love through gentle touches, such as holding hands, resting his hand on his partner's back, or brushing a stray hair away from their face. His actions are subtle yet deeply meaningful, conveying his care and devotion.
It was a quiet evening as Lycaon sat beside his partner, the room filled with a peaceful silence. Reaching out, he gently took their hand in his, his touch warm and reassuring. A tender smile spread across his face as he leaned in closer to brush a stray hair away from their face. "You always manage to captivate me," he whispered in a soft, sincere tone. A smile spread across his partner's face as they felt the warmth of his touch and the sincerity of his words. "You make me feel so special," they replied, their voice filled with affection. Lycaon's gaze softened, reflecting the depth of his emotions. Leaning closer, he tilted his head slightly, pressing a gentle, lingering kiss to their lips. He kissed softly, yet passionately, expressing the depth of his love and devotion. As he pulled back, his thumb gently stroked their cheek. "You are special to me," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper, carrying the weight of his heartfelt words.
Loyal and Committed: Lycaon is incredibly loyal, and once committed to a relationship, he is dedicated and steadfast. He values trust and honesty, making sure to communicate openly with his partner. His commitment is unwavering, and he is always there to support and stand by his partner, no matter the circumstances.
Sitting on the couch with his partner, Lycaon gently took their hands in his, his grip firm yet comforting. Taking a deep look into their eyes, he spoke steadily, with a sense of sincerity in his voice. "You know I'll always be here for you, right? No matter what," he said, a look of unwavering commitment on his face. Feeling the warmth and reassurance in his words, they smiled softly, the tension easing from their body. "I do, and it means the world to me," they replied, their voice touched with emotion. Lycaon's expression softened even more as he leaned in, lifting their hands to his lips as he kissed them tenderly and with affection. "Good," he murmured, his voice soft and intimate. "Because you mean the world to me."
Soft and Vulnerable Moments: Lycaon feels comfortable showing his softer side with his partner. He opens up about his fears, dreams, and insecurities, trusting his partner with his innermost thoughts.
As they lay together in the dim light of the bedroom, Lycaon stared at the ceiling, a shadow of worry crossing his features. He took a deep breath, gathering the courage to voice his thoughts. "Sometimes, I worry that I might not be enough for you," he confessed softly. "That I might fail you in some way." His partner gently took his hand, their fingers lacing together in a comforting grip. "You never have to worry about that," they assured him, their tone filled with warmth and sincerity. "You're more than enough for me, just as you are." A small, relieved smile formed on Lycaon's lips as he turned to face them, their words soothing his fears. "Thank you," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. His lips pressed tenderly against their foreheads as he found deep comfort and reassurance in their presence.
Playful Teasing: Lycaon enjoys a playful dynamic with his partner. While he is usually composed, he sometimes teases his partner in a lighthearted manner, enjoying the banter and the smiles it brings. His teasing is always gentle and affectionate, never crossing the line into hurtful territory.
As they worked side by side in the kitchen, preparing a meal, Lycaon noticed his partner struggling to open a jar of sauce. With a playful grin, he stepped closer, leaning over their shoulder. "Need a big, strong wolf to help with that?" he teased in a light and affectionate manner. They rolled their eyes with a mock sigh, handing him the jar. "Oh, please. Show me your amazing strength," they replied, playing along with the banter. Chuckling, Lycaon effortlessly twisted the lid off the jar and handed it back, his gaze twinkling with amusement. "There you go, just as requested," he said with a dramatic flourish. "Always happy to lend my mighty strength." His partner laughed, shaking their head. "You and your teasing," they said, nudging him playfully. "It's a good thing you're cute." Lycaonâs grin widened as he leaned in to kiss the tip of their nose. "And it's a good thing you love my teasing," he countered, his voice softening with fondness.
Supportive Partner: He is incredibly supportive of his partner's goals and aspirations. Lycaon is always there to offer encouragement, advice, and a listening ear. He celebrates their achievements with genuine pride and offers comfort and reassurance during challenging times.
As his partner walked into the room, Lycaon immediately rose to greet them, a proud smile on his face. "You did amazing," he said warmly, wrapping them in a gentle hug. "I knew you would impress everyone." Despite their exhaustion, they smiled with relief. "It was nerve-wracking, but I'm glad it's over." Guiding them to sit down, Lycaon held their hands and looked into their eyes, his expression sincere. "You were incredible. Your dedication and hard work truly shone through," he reassured, his voice filled with pride. Leaning in, he pressed a gentle kiss to their forehead. "Let's celebrate your success tonight. You deserve it."
Quiet Companionship: Lycaon appreciates quiet moments with his partner, where they can simply enjoy each other's presence without the need for words. Whether it's reading together, taking a leisurely walk, or sitting in comfortable silence, these moments are cherished as they reflect the deep connection and understanding between them.
Lycaon sat beside his partner on the couch, a book resting in his hands as the soft glow of the lamp cast a warm light over them. Occasionally, he glanced over at his partner, a soft smile playing on his lips as they were engrossed in their book. They shifted slightly, leaning into Lycaon's side, finding comfort in his presence. Without a word, they continued reading, savoring the quiet intimacy of the moment. As he breathed in deeply, Lycaon gently rested his head against theirs, feeling content in the shared quiet, enjoying the simple joy of being together without words.
Rituals and Traditions: Lycaon enjoys establishing rituals and traditions with his partner. Whether it's a weekly date night, a special way of celebrating anniversaries, or simple daily routines like morning coffee together, he finds comfort and joy in these shared experiences.
Every morning, Lycaon rises early to brew a pot of coffee, carefully preparing it just the way his partner likes it. He arranges two cups on the kitchen island, adding a small vase of fresh flowers to brighten the space. When his partner enters the kitchen, they're greeted by the comforting aroma of coffee. A smile spreads across their face as they approach the island. "Good morning," they say softly, taking a place next to Lycaon. Pouring the coffee into their cups, Lycaon hands one to his partner, his gaze warm with love. "Good morning," he replies. "Did you sleep well?" They share a quiet moment, savoring the start of the day together. Taking a sip, they nod, enjoying the rich flavor. "I did, thanks to you," they say, their voice filled with adoration. "These mornings are my favorite." Smiling, Lycaon sets his cup down and wraps an arm around his partner, pulling them closer. He leans in, placing a gentle kiss on their forehead. "Mine too," he murmurs.
Feral Protective Instincts: Though outwardly sophisticated and rational, Lycaon's innate feral character reveals itself when his partner is in danger. His usually composed demeanor gives way to a fierce protectiveness. He becomes intensely focused and assertive, ensuring that any threat is swiftly dealt with.
As Lycaon and his partner strolled through the bustling marketplace, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, an aggressive individual suddenly approached them, visibly angry and raising their voice. Instantly, Lycaon's demeanor shifted, his usually calm expression turning dangerous as a low, warning growl rumbled from his throat. He stepped protectively in front of his partner, his posture aggressive. "Is there a problem here?" he growled, his voice deep and menacing, baring his sharp teeth in a silent snarl. The sudden display of his feral nature caused the aggressor to falter, clearly intimidated by the quiet but profound threat in Lycaonâs unwavering stance. "It would be best for you to move along now," he continued, his voice cold and commanding. Seeing Lycaonâs protective instincts in action, his partner felt both reassured and awed by his fierce loyalty. "It's alright," they whispered, gently placing a hand on his arm to calm him. As the aggressor backed away, clearly unnerved, Lycaon gradually relaxed. He turned to his partner, his expression softening significantly. Reaching out, he gently caressed their cheek, his touch tender and protective. "I won't let anyone harm you," he promised in a low, sincere voice.

Chapter 2: Settling In
A @campwillowpeakvn fanfiction đ 'Camp WillowPeak' is a Murder Mystery Visual Novel that is in development for adults 18+, created by @papaziggy-devblog. Minors do not interact.

They arrived at the cabin and stepped inside, finding a small hallway that split off into two separate rooms on either side. The space was cozy, with warm wooden floors and simple, rustic furnishings. The faint scent of pine lingered in the air, adding to the cabinâs welcoming atmosphere.
Harper glanced down at Ebony, his tall frame almost filling the hallway. "So, do you want the lake view room?" he asked, his tone casual, though there was a hint of hopefulness in his voice.
Ebony looked up at him, a puzzled expression crossing her face. "Wait, didnât you want the cabin because of the view in the first place?" she asked, her eyebrows raising in surprise as she studied his face.
Harper shifted slightly, looking off to the side as he scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Well, I, er... itâs a nice view, so I... honestly thought you might like it. Thatâs why I wanted this cabin," he confessed, his voice sincere and tinged with shyness.
Ebony felt a warm sensation spread through her chest, touched by his thoughtfulness. She hadnât expected this gesture, and it caught her off guard in the best way possible. She smiled at him, her expression softening as she looked into his blue eyes. "Thatâs incredibly sweet of you, Harper. Thank you," she said, her voice filled with genuine appreciation.
Harperâs cheeks glowed pink as he smiled down at her, his eyes softening affectionately. "No problem at all, Cara Mia," he replied, his voice gentle and affectionate, the endearment slipping naturally from his lips.
Ebony looked at Harper, puzzled, as she tried to translate âCara Miaâ in her head. The words didnât seem to fit the context as she understood them in Spanish. Her brows furrowed, confusion evident on her face. "My face?" she questioned, her voice tinged with disbelief.
Harper blinked, momentarily taken aback by her response. He tilted his head slightly, curiosity and amusement playing across his features. "What?" he responded, his tone a blend of confusion and intrigue, his eyes narrowing slightly as if trying to piece together what she was saying.
Ebony, still baffled, gestured with her hands to emphasize her point. "In Spanish, 'cara mia' means 'my face'. Is that what you meant?" She looked up at him expectantly, her curiosity piqued by the apparent misunderstanding.
For a moment, Harper stared at her, and then he burst into laughter, the sound rich and genuine, echoing through the small cabin. He shook his head, clearly entertained by the unexpected translation. "No, no, thatâs not what I meant," he chuckled, wiping a tear from the corner of his eye. The laughter in his voice was infectious, and a wide grin spread across his face.
Ebony raised an eyebrow, her curiosity deepening. She crossed her arms and leaned slightly forward, refusing to let the subject drop. "Well, then, what does 'Cara Mia' mean?" she pressed, her eyes narrowing playfully as she waited for his explanation, a teasing smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Harper tried to brush it off with a casual wave of his hand. "Ah, nothing really. Just a nickname! Don't worry about it too much," he said, attempting to sound nonchalant. But despite his effort to appear calm, there was a slight tremor in his voice that betrayed his nerves.
Ebony wasnât satisfied as she leaned in closer, her expression shifting to exaggerated pleading. With a mischievous glint in her green eyes, she put on her best puppy dog face, her lips forming a pout. "Aw, come on! What does it mean?" she pleaded, her voice adopting a teasing, singsong quality that was hard to resist.
Harperâs cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink, the color spreading across his face like wildfire. He quickly looked away, clearly flustered by her persistent questioning. A sheepish smile played on his lips as he nervously scratched his fingertips with his thumb. "R-really, itâs nothing! Just a little nickname for my new roomie. I-" he began, but his voice trailed off as he struggled to maintain his composure under her relentless teasing. He found himself at a loss for words, captivated by the way she effortlessly drew him in with her charm.
Their conversation was abruptly interrupted by a firm knock on the door. Both Ebony and Harper turned toward the sound, their amusing exchange momentarily paused.
The woman from earlierâthe one who had been with Cammiâspoke from the other side of the door. "Hurry up and get settled in, you two. Once everyone is ready, I want everyone to meet by the firepit for orientation." Her tone was a blend of authority and warmth, making it clear she expected them to follow instructions promptly. After delivering her message, her footsteps faded as she walked away, leaving Harper and Ebony alone once more.
Harper turned back to Ebony, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Ah, I guess we should go ahead and get settled in..." he said, his tone carrying a hint of reluctance at ending their conversation. "I shouldnât take too long, so... do you want to head over together when weâre done?" he suggested, his voice hopeful, almost eager.
Ebony met his gaze, returning his smile with one of her own. "Sure, sounds good! Iâll just be a few minutes," she replied, her voice warm and friendly. There was an easygoing assurance in her tone, as if she was already comfortable with the idea of spending more time with him.
Harper's smile widened, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. "G-great!" he stammered, quickly realizing his nervousness was showing. He coughed awkwardly, glancing away as he tried to regain his composure. "I mean, yeah. Cool, sure..." He let out a nervous laugh, his hand instinctively moving to scratch the tips of his fingers. "I'll be out here when you're done," he added, his voice a bit more controlled.
Ebony couldnât help but find his nervousness endearing, and she offered him a reassuring smile. "Alright, I wonât take long." With a final exchange of smiles, they both headed into their respective rooms to get settled in.
A modest yet cozy room greeted Ebony as she stepped inside. Warm, rustic wood paneled the walls, giving the room a cabin-like feel. On one wall, a simple bed was positioned with crisp white linens and a green pillow, while on the opposite wall was a dresser and a window with green curtains. A decorative tapestry with a dragonfly added a touch of color to the room, while a clock ticked softly in the background.
It didn't take long for Ebony to set up. She hadn't brought much, just a few essentials and personal items to make the space feel more like home. She placed her duffel bag on the bed and began unpacking. First, she pulled out her clothes, neatly folding them and placing them in the dresser drawers. She then carefully set her acoustic guitar in its case against the wall near the bed, a comforting presence that she knew would help her relax in her downtime.
Ebony pulled out a small, well-worn stuffed animalâa plush cat she'd had since childhoodâand placed it on the bed. It was a simple touch, but it brought a sense of familiarity and comfort. She also set a framed photo of her family on the nightstand, a reminder of the loved ones she had back home.
Lastly, she unfurled a vibrant tapestry she had brought along, depicting a scene of ancient Egypt, complete with pyramids and a glowing sunset over the Nile. She pinned it to the wall above the bed, adding a splash of color and a deeper connection to her heritage, making the room feel more personal.
With everything unpacked, Ebony took a final look around, satisfied with the cozy, welcoming atmosphere she had created. The room was small, but it was now filled with touches of her personality. She knew she wouldn't be spending much time here once the campers arrived, but for now, it was a perfect little retreat.
"This should do it," Ebony murmured as she stretched her arms above her head, feeling the slight pull in her muscles as she let out a contented sigh. "It would be nice to chill for a bit, but I guess that's gonna have to wait for later."
As she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, she paused to adjust her shirt. The reflection highlighted her tattooâa Quetzalcoatl bird, intricately detailed with a blend of feathers and scales. The birdâs wings spread gracefully across her left shoulder and upper arm, the vibrant colors standing out against her warm complexion. She traced the lines of the tattoo briefly with her fingers, a small smile playing on her lips.
"Alright, I guess I should head out then. Donât want to keep everyone waiting," she murmured, giving herself a final once-over in the mirror. Satisfied with her appearance, she gave a determined nod before stepping out of the room, closing the door behind her with a soft click.
Harper was already there, leaning casually against the wall with a relaxed smile on his face, his tall frame almost dwarfing the narrow hallway. Ebony raised an eyebrow in surprise, her lips curving into a smirk. "Wow, that was fast. Did you just toss all your stuff on the floor or something?" she quipped, her tone teasing.
Harper grinned, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "Nah... tossed it all on the bed," he shot back, sticking his tongue out cheekily, revealing silver tongue piercings that gleamed in the light. He winked at her with a playful air. "I do have some standards, you know."
Ebony couldnât help but laugh, shaking her head at his antics. "Standards, huh? I bet it looks like a tornado hit your room," she teased, her tone light and comical as she imagined the chaos he must have created.
Harper chuckled, shaking his head. "Hey, itâs organized chaos," he defended with a grin, clearly not too bothered by her ribbing. He straightened up, his posture becoming more animated as he gestured towards the door. "So, ready to head on over?"
"Yeah! Let's get going," Ebony replied, her enthusiasm evident in the brightness of her green eyes. Together, they made their way out of the cabin, their footsteps in sync as they headed out to join the rest of the group.
Chapter 3: The Start of Something New
A @campwillowpeakvn fanfiction đ 'Camp WillowPeak' is a Murder Mystery Visual Novel that is in development for adults 18+, created by @papaziggy-devblog. Minors do not interact.

Chatting with Harper along the way, Ebony found him to be an alright guy. Despite his intimidating appearanceâlikely due to his towering heightâhe had a goofy, laid-back demeanor that put her at ease. His easygoing nature was a stark contrast to his imposing figure, and she found herself relaxing in his company. As they walked, she glanced up at him, her curiosity piqued.
"So, what made you want to sign up to be a counselor? No offense, but I donât really get much of an outdoorsy vibe from you," she teased, her tone light and playful, a mischievous smile tugging at her lips.
Harper stuck out his tongue and winked at her, laughing. "Yeah, youâre kinda right. I have my reasons, though," he replied, trying to sound mysterious, though the twinkle in his blue eyes gave him away.
Ebony raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his vague response. "Oh yeah? And what might those be?" she pressed, leaning in slightly as if expecting some grand revelation.
Harper stuttered momentarily, trying to find the right words. As if buying time to come up with a plausible answer, he scratched the back of his neck. "Err... New experiences? Meeting new people? I, uh... was bored?" he finally admitted, though his tone lacked the conviction to make it entirely believable.
Ebony couldnât help but laugh, nudging him with her elbow. "Not gonna lie, it sounds like youâre pulling all that out of your ass," she teased, her green eyes twinkling with amusement.
Harper joined in her laughter, shaking his head in mock defeat. "Aw, come on! I thought they were good reasons!" he shot back, grinning widely. "Whatâs your reason, then, if itâs so much better?" he added, cheekily challenging her.
Ebony grimaced playfully, realizing she might have set herself up for that. "Honestly? Meeting new people is actually one of my reasons," she admitted, a sheepish smile spreading across her face.
Harper laughed, his tone light and teasing. "Your reason is just as lame as mine!" he joked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Ebony laughed along with him, but her laughter gradually faded as she tried to defend herself. "Okay, but I'm serious! Lately, it feels like everyoneâs been distancing themselves from me," she confessed, her voice softening. The weight of her words seemed to settle between them, and as she looked away, a flicker of sadness briefly dimmed the usual brightness in her green eyes. "And I donât really know why," she added, her shoulders sagging slightly under the unspoken burden.
Harperâs expression softened, his eyes reflecting empathy as he listened. "So, I thought maybe here I could, I donât know... make some new friends who wonât just up and poof on me," Ebony confessed, her voice tinged with vulnerability that she rarely let surface.
Harper, still focused on her, paused thoughtfully, letting the silence stretch for a moment before softly saying, "Oh..." A gentle smile began to spread across his face, the kind that lit up his eyes and revealed the sharp canines that added a unique charm to his expression. "I mean... canât say I plan on going anywhere," he reassured her. "Unlike them, you can count on me to stick around~."
Ebony looked up at him in disbelief, her eyes searching his face for sincerity. Harperâs smile remained kind and genuine, his expression open and honest. He seemed almost earnest in his promise, as if the idea of leaving her side was unimaginable. "Really?" she asked, still somewhat skeptical. "How can you say that when we just met?"
Harper shrugged with a casualness that belied the intensity of his feelings. His smile never wavered, his eyes shining with a quiet determination. "Gut feeling. Come on, does this look like a face that would lie to you?" he asked, tilting his head slightly as he put on his most innocent expression, his features softening into a look of pure sincerity.
Ebony couldnât resist teasing him, the corners of her mouth lifting into a mischievous grin. "Honestly? A little bit," she replied, her tone light, the earlier heaviness momentarily forgotten. She leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "And you look like youâd be a little shit about it too."
Harper gasped theatrically, placing a hand over his chest as if he were truly wounded. "Mean!" he exclaimed, pouting in exaggerated disappointment. "Wow, I didnât know my new roomie would be such a bully!"
Ebony struggled to keep a straight face as Harper paused, giving her a look of mock hurt that quickly dissolved into a sly smile. He stuck his tongue out, revealing the glint of his tongue piercing. "My Nonna raised me to be a man of my word. Guess Iâll just have to endure and stick around~."
That was itâEbony couldnât hold back her laughter any longer. "Youâre such a dork," she said, shaking her head, clearly entertained by his antics.
Harperâs grin only grew wider as he leaned in slightly, his voice taking on a teasing lilt. "A dork, aaaaaaand your new buddy, yeah?" He fluttered his eyelashes dramatically, adding to the over-the-top charm.
Ebonyâs laughter slowly subsided as she looked up at him, her green eyes still dancing with amusement. "Oh, but of course," she replied, her tone just as playful, fully embracing the lighthearted banter.
Harperâs smile brightened even more, satisfaction written all over his face. "Perfect~. I knew weâd get on great~," he said, his voice full of cheer, clearly thrilled with how their connection was shaping up.
As they reached the firepit, Ebony noticed that everyone was already there, busy setting things up and chatting among themselves. A circle of rustic wooden benches surrounded the firepit, and the air was filled with the crackling sound of wood and the murmur of voices. Glancing up at Harper, Ebony noticed a subtle shift in his demeanor. His typically cheerful expression faltered, and a shadow of displeasure crossed his face as he observed the gathered group.
Sensing something was off, Ebony instinctively stepped closer to him, her eyes searching his face with quiet concern. "Are you alright?" she asked softly, her voice gentle and reassuring.
Harper blinked, snapping out of his thoughts as he quickly looked away. "Ah, yeah... Won't lie, I'm not really that social of a person," he admitted, his tone subdued. Ebony tilted her head slightly, her concern deepening. "Oh? You seemed pretty comfortable earlier," she observed, her voice soft, genuinely trying to understand.
Harper looked down at her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Guess I'm just comfy with you," he said, his voice warm and sincere. As Harper said this, Ebony felt a slight flutter in her chest. She thought to herself, âComfy with me, huh?â She couldn't help but feel a bit flattered and surprised by his words.Â
Just then, two people approached Harper and Ebony, the displeased look returning to Harper's face as he stood protectively behind her. The guy leading the way had striking blue hair and a confident grin plastered on his face. He stood at about 5'10" and wore the camp's green polo shirt with cargo shorts and sandals, giving off a laid-back vibe. The girl beside him, significantly shorter at 4'8", had lush red hair cascading in soft waves and vibrant green eyes. She wore the same camp uniform, with knee-high white socks and black flats, adding a touch of contrast to her outfit.
The blue-haired guy greeted them with enthusiasm, "Heeey there, you two! We've all been waitin' on ya!" His voice carried a light-hearted tone as he pointed at each of them in turn. "You must be Ebony aaand Harper, yeah?"
Ebony smiled, nodding at the energetic greeting. "Yeah, that's us," she replied, her tone friendly but casual. She glanced at Harper, then back at the guy with blue hair, curious about who they were. "And you guys are?" she asked, prompting introductions.
The blue-haired guy continued with a smirk, "I'm Gavin, and this little cutie here is Sophie," he said, gesturing to the girl beside him. He then turned his attention back to Ebony, giving her an appraising look. "Though, gotta say, you're pretty cute yourself~," he added, his tone flirtatious.
Ebony felt a wave of annoyance wash over her. âUgh, is this guy serious?â she thought, barely managing to keep her smile from turning into a frown. Meanwhile, Harper's expression darkened behind her, his eyes narrowing and jaw tightening, clearly not pleased with Gavin's boldness.
Sophie, noticing Gavin's flirtation, looked up at him with a raised eyebrow. "Are you really going to flirt with everyone you meet here?" she asked, her tone dripping with exasperation.
Gavin shrugged, seemingly unfazed by her comment. "Hey, can't score if I don't shoot my shots," he replied with a nonchalant grin, clearly enjoying himself.
Annoyed by Gavin's behavior, Sophie reached up and grabbed him by the ear, pulling hard enough to make him bend down in pain. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" Gavin yelped, grimacing.
"Down, boy," Sophie commanded, her voice firm as she shot him a disapproving look. Ebony smirked to herself, amused by the scene. âLooks like someoneâs got him on a short leash. Not that he doesnât deserve it,â she thought, finding it hard not to laugh at Gavin's predicament.
Sophie, still gripping Gavin's ear, turned her attention back to Ebony and Harper. "It's nice to meet you! Everyone else is busy finishing setting up, but I'm sure they're all excited to meet you!" she said, her tone polite but firm. She gestured to the firepit behind her with her free hand. "We were actually just about to grab a bit more wood for the fire. If you want, you can head over to the sâmores station and start setting up?"
Ebony nodded, smiling. "Sure, sounds good!" she replied, grateful for the distraction from Gavin's antics. She glanced at Harper, who seemed relieved to move away from the encounter, and together they headed towards the sâmores station, leaving Sophie to deal with Gavin.
As Ebony and Harper headed over to the firepit, they spotted a foldable table set up with boxes of graham crackers, bags of generic brand chocolate, and marshmallows. Ebony couldn't resist making a quip. "Wow, they really went all out with the store-brand goodies. Guess weâre not getting the gourmet sâmores experience," she joked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Harper chuckled, picking up a piece of paper from the table. "Looks like there's even a little to-do list... Pretty much just skewering marshmallows and portioning out chocolate and crackers," he said, reading through the instructions.
"Sounds easy enough," Ebony replied with a shrug.
They got to work, methodically skewering marshmallows and setting out portions of chocolate and graham crackers. As they worked, Harper seemed to lighten up, his mood noticeably more cheerful.
Ebony observed him out of the corner of her eye, noticing how genuinely happy he seemed when it was just the two of them. âItâs like heâs a completely different person when weâre alone,â she thought. âHeâs all smiles and laughs with me, but he looked almost irritated when Gavin and Sophie showed up.â She couldnât help but wonder why Harper seemed so comfortable around her yet so visibly displeased with others. It was both flattering and a little puzzling, and it made her curious about the reasons behind his demeanor.
As they continued setting up, Ebony decided to strike up a conversation. "So, do you have any friends back home?" she asked casually, glancing over at Harper.
Harper looked up from the marshmallows, slightly caught off guard by the question. "Huh? Oh, yeah! Iâve got a nice little friend group back home. Theyâre pretty great," he replied with a smile.
Ebony nodded, her hands busy arranging the chocolate bars. âItâs good to know he has a support system back home,â she thought to herself. She felt a bit reassured, seeing that Harper had a life outside of this camp. It made her feel less worried about his earlier reactions and more curious about who he was beneath the surface.
As they continued working, skewering marshmallows and setting up the rest of the s'mores ingredients, Ebony decided to delve a little deeper. "What about a partner? Are you in a relationship?" she asked, trying to sound casual, though her curiosity was genuine.
Harper choked a bit on the marshmallow he was trying to sneakily eat, his eyes widening in surprise. Ebony couldnât help but laugh, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Easy there, big guy. Didnât mean to surprise you," she teased, patting him on the back.
Harper managed to swallow the marshmallow, coughing as his cheeks turned a deep shade of pink. "A-a partner? R-relationship? Erm, no, definitely not..." He looked down at Ebony, who had moved her hand away from his back, his eyes searching hers for a moment. "I, uh... Why... Why do you ask?" he stammered, clearly flustered.
Ebony smirked, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Just curious~," she replied, drawing out the last word teasingly.
Harper raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her tone. "Oh, ooh, curious? And why would that be?~" he pressed, leaning in slightly, his interest piqued.
Ebony resumed skewering marshmallows, nudging him with her hips as she did. "Stick around like you promised and maybe youâll find out~," she teased, giving him a sidelong glance.
Harper smirked, chuckling softly. "I guess I really donât have a choice then~," he said, his voice light but sincere. He looked at her with a soft, almost tender expression. "Not like youâd be able to get rid of me anyway, Cara Mia."
Just then, the womanâs voice from earlier cut through the moment, calling out to the group. "Alright, everyone! Come on over and introduce yourselves!"
Harperâs expression turned annoyed, and he let out a sigh as he stood upright. "Damn, guess we gotta head on over..." he muttered, clearly reluctant to leave their conversation. Ebony gave him a knowing smile as they headed towards the firepit, ready to join the rest of the group.

Moonlit Confessions

Here are some headcanons for Von Lycaon's first kiss with his crush, along with a short story:
Height Difference: Given Von Lycaon's towering height of 6'6", his first kiss involves a noticeable height difference from his crush. He might have to lean down or gently lift his crush to bring them closer to his level. This gesture would be both protective and intimate, emphasizing his careful nature.
Gentle Approach: Despite his intimidating appearance, Von Lycaon would approach the kiss with surprising gentleness. He would likely start by caressing his crush's cheek or tucking a strand of hair behind their ear, ensuring they are comfortable and receptive before moving closer.
Careful Control: Von Lycaon is aware of his strength and size, so he would be incredibly careful and controlled, ensuring that his crush feels safe and cherished. His hands would likely rest lightly on their waist or shoulders, providing a comforting presence without overwhelming them.
Tender and Slow: The kiss would begin softly, almost hesitant, as Von Lycaon carefully gauges his crush's response. He would start with a gentle brush of his lips against theirs, savoring the moment and ensuring that every movement is tender and considerate.
Building Intensity: As his confidence grows and his crush reciprocates, the kiss would deepen. Von Lycaon would cup the back of their head or cradle their face, his touch firm yet gentle. The kiss would become more passionate but never rushed, as he takes his time exploring this new, intimate connection.
Subtle Canine Traits: In moments of heightened emotion, his canine traits might subtly manifest. His ears might twitch, or there might be a slight wag of his tail if he's particularly happy. This adds a unique, endearing element to the experience.
Emotional Vulnerability: For Von Lycaon, the first kiss is not just a physical act but an emotional commitment. He would feel vulnerable, sharing a part of himself that he usually keeps guarded. His eye, usually calm and composed, might show a flicker of nervousness or intense emotion.
Aftermath: Post-kiss, Von Lycaon would hold his crush close, keeping his arms wrapped securely around them, resting his forehead against theirs, savoring the shared intimacy. His tail, usually a subtle indicator of his feelings, would continue to wag slightly, reflecting his happiness.

The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silver glow over the quiet city. Von Lycaon walked beside his crush, the streets mostly deserted at this hour. The soft sound of their footsteps was the only thing breaking the serene silence. Despite his usual calm demeanor, Lycaon felt a flutter of nervousness in his chest. The moment felt different tonightâspecial, charged with an unspoken anticipation.
As they walked, he found himself sneaking glances at them, admiring the way the moonlight played off their features. There was something enchanting about them, something that always drew him in. His height usually made him feel imposing, but around them, he felt a strange sense of vulnerabilityâa desire to be gentle and kind.
They reached a quiet park, the perfect place for a moment of respite. Lycaon, ever the gentleman, offered his arm to his crush, guiding them to a nearby bench. They sat down, the cool night air enveloping them. For a moment, neither spoke, the silence filled with the soft rustle of leaves and the distant hum of the city.
Lycaon turned to face his crush, his heart racing beneath his calm exterior. "The moon is beautiful tonight," he murmured, his voice steady yet carrying a depth of emotion. His crush looked up, nodding in agreement, their eyes reflecting the soft glow of the moon.
Encouraged by the quiet intimacy of the moment, Lycaon spoke again, his voice gentle. "There's something I've been wanting to share with you," he began, his tone both earnest and tender. He reached out, gently cupping their cheek, his thumb tracing a soft line along their skin. "You've captured my heart in a way I never thought possible," he confessed, his gaze meeting theirs with vulnerability and affection.
His crush's eyes softened, a gentle smile forming on their lips. "You mean that?" they asked, their voice tinged with hope and warmth.
Lycaon nodded, his expression sincere. "Yes, more than anything. Being with you feels... right, like everything has fallen into place," he continued, his hand tenderly cradling their cheek. "I've come to cherish every moment we share, and I find myself wanting moreâmore time, more memories, more of you."
His crush leaned into his touch, their smile widening. "I feel the same," they admitted, their voice soft and sincere. "I've been hoping you felt this way too."
A relieved smile spread across Lycaon's face, his eye lighting up with joy. "I'm glad," he whispered, leaning in closer. "I promise to always cherish and protect you, to make sure you know just how much you mean to me."
As the words left his lips, the air around them seemed to hum with a newfound closeness. Leaning down, he brought his face closer to theirs, his tall frame bending over protectively. He hesitated for a moment, his breath mingling with theirs, as if seeking silent permission. When his crush's eyes fluttered shut, Lycaon took it as the answer he needed.
Gently, he closed the remaining distance, his lips meeting his crush's in a tender, tentative kiss. The initial touch was soft and hesitant, yet filled with all the emotions he'd been holding back. The warmth of their lips and the softness of their skin sent a shiver down his spine. His hand moved to cradle the back of their head, his fingers gently threading through their hair, while his other arm wrapped securely around their waist, pulling them closer to him.
As the kiss deepened, Lycaon's movements became more confident and assured. The gentle kiss transformed into something more passionate and intense. His lips pressed more firmly against theirs, exploring and savoring the moment. The tenderness was still there, but now it was accompanied by a fervent desire, a longing that had been kept at bay for too long. His breaths became deeper, his heart racing as the kiss continued.
His grip tightened slightly, not in a constricting way, but as if he wanted to hold them closer, never letting go. The gentle tangling of fingers in their hair became a caress, his hand moving down to gently cradle their jaw. The kiss was no longer just a meeting of lips; it was an expression of deep affection and connection. His tail, a clear indicator of his emotions, wagged more visibly, betraying the joy and contentment he felt in that moment.
Finally, they pulled away, both breathless and with their foreheads resting together. Lycaon felt a profound warmth spread through him, a sense of contentment and rightness that he had never experienced before. A rare, genuine smile spread across his face, reaching his eye. As if to further express his affection, his tail gently wrapped around his crush, holding them close and conveying a protective, loving embrace.
"Thank you," he murmured, his voice filled with gratitude and affection. "For trusting me... and for this."
His crush smiled back, their eyes twinkling with shared joy. "Thank you, Lycaon," they whispered, their voice just as soft. "For everything."
A deep sense of contentment and serenity washed over Lycaon as they sat there, wrapped in each other's arms under the moonlit sky. In this moment, he knew their relationship had begun a new chapter, filled with promise and closeness. For the first time in a long while, he felt truly at peace, content in the knowledge that he was exactly where he was meant to be.
