having finally caved to my dashboard and watched all of what's currently out of dungeon meshi i will say. there's a suspiciously large amount of winged lion theming. mostly as protective figures in the dungeon (gargoyles and grotesques) but distinctly ominous in the intro (the shot focused on its claws, and the following shot being Giant Pool Of Blood). i have no idea what's up with this other than to not trust any lions that show up. which. i would imagine i wouldnt do anyways.
