Anemone is a good litmus test for whether or not a person is able to understand characters

"I liked Anemone until arc 2, where she became a brat for literally no reason" ooohhh so close! Anemone was a heavily traumatized dragonet who was literally on a leash for most of her life. She was taken advantage of by anybody close to her and coddled as this precious innocent baby. When she goes to school she acts out every impulse as she's now free from her controlling mother, which makes her a perfect target for Darkstalker to manipulate and use as a pawn for his greater plan. She was a brat because she was a young girl who has never known what a healthy and normal relationship was like

Considering Peril probably can’t have kids, I like the idea of Clay being the entire continent’s babysitter

about me/lore:

My name is hand and I use all prns. all of the blog designs are based around a fantasy world concept, where instead of dragons, everyone is a wizard, and certain tribes perform certain kinds of magic. (Eg, icewings have ice magic, sandwings have fire magic and poisonous nails :3, rainwings are shapeshifters) each tribe is also based off a different ‘ancient’ culture (these are not based off their race, but their geographical origins, so while nightwings are based off the Greeks/the dark ages, they have dark skin. Because they are black dragons)

that being said I do occasionally draw modern AUs, my main (largely unposted :p) are a jade band au and a DOD college au
