I love they make a point that Tifa could have left, but stick with Barret when others left and specifically "because, you know, we had a connection." X)

What is with Square writing about Tifa's underwear?! ...But it's left ambiguous is Barret nervous/embarrassed seeing that, or just nervous of money missing, that saves the little moment.

Somebody needs to take advantage of this scene from Totp novel and draw it! 👏 Tifa having a Nibelheim flashback but then calming down, looking into Barret's eyes, such a shoujo moment. ✨ Like...
