Bee✨🌕🌸✨ infpA seeker of small joys who draws occasionally. I am a florist by day (a peddler of petals, if you will) and a night-blooming tinkerer of various crafts. Trying to fall back in love with creating messy, imperfect things. All photos here are my own, unless stated otherwise. 🌙

Tonight’s Aurora was a bit difficult to see beneath the cloud coverage. She turned such a deep red near the end, before the rain hit. ✨

Life as of late ✨
The beautiful pumpkin + succulent centrepiece in the first photo was made by one of my sweet friends & thoughtfully gifted to me. 🎃

I have been dreaming of creating either a moon garden or an all black flower garden for the better part of this year. Working on bringing that to fruition for the next growing season. 🌑✨
So far have found; Black Bat Plant (Tacca Chantrieri), Queen of the Night tulips & Tulipa 'Paul Scherer'.
A glimpse of tonight’s brief aurora. Sound on for coyote song 🖤

I think my pup approves of the LOTR themed welcome mat I found at the Ren Faire today! ✨⚔️🌿 ft. the cutest little stickers I’ve ever stumbled upon. (not my art! made by a shop called earth token)

This was my first time ever experiencing the Aurora Borealis. The way it washes across the sky like ghostly tides lapsing an invisible shore feels otherworldly.

I took an illustration course that required us to do a master study of a children’s book illustrator’s work- this is my attempt at recreating a piece by Cicely Mary Barker. Done in inks and watercolours. ✨🧚♀️

Currently working on my first attempt at a daisy granny square. 🌼 she’s looking a bit sunny-side up at the moment.

Fell in love with the moss rug originally created by @pidgie-core and felt inspired to start working on a rug of my own. The variety of shades and textures are feeling more lichen-like so far. (also hoping to turn the mushroom patterned fabric into a hand stitched throw pillow)
