Best Friends To Lovers With Jason Todd Is So Swoon Worthy.
Best friends to lovers with Jason Todd is so swoon worthy.
Like getting close to this man that hardly trusts anyone? Jason is so friends to lovers coded it's crazy.
This bitch is the type to cook you meals while you sit on the counter, doesn't matter who's apartment your in.
Finding him curled up on your couch because he was distressed after patrol and when he got there you were already asleep. Him staying anyway because your smell comforts him? I'm fucking deceased.
Falling asleep casually draped over each other while watching a movie. Him massaging the leg you have draped over his lap because he needs something to do with his hands.
This man is so awkward when it comes to crushing too. Like sure he can be smooth with the ladies, but being around someone he's in love with? Please. I swear he'd go as far as practically acting like your boyfriend. He'd be bringing you your favorite snacks, taking you on bike rides, helping you clean your apartment, going out to eat with you, all the while trying to act like he doesn't blush when you smile at him, because there's no way you'd like him back, right?
He'd be so confused if you started trying to drop hints too, like oh, your just wearing his jacket because your cold. His favorite hoodie is definitely not at your place. You just like rubbing his shoulders because you know how tight his muscles get and feel bad for him, no other reason. You only keep his favorite tea at your place because it's convenient, right?
I think you could wave a sign at this man that says 'I LOVE YOU, PLEASE KISS ME' and he'd suddenly become illiterate.
There'd be so many awkward, blushing, almost severely intimate moments too. The cuddles and brushes in the kitchen, hanging on too tight when he takes a turn on his bike, him brushing the hair out of your face, him watching as you put on makeup or are focused on something.
One day, while he's cooking and your sitting on the counter talking, you just get fed up with dropping hints and when he turns and is standing next to your spot on the counter, you just grab him. You just grasp his cheek gently and pull him in for a kiss, he's so stunned he doesn't respond right away. You pull away, half panicking, thinking you actually read him wrong and he finally blinks, cupping your cheeks in his hands and pulling you in to kiss you for real because, finally.

Would you be willing to write a Jason Todd x reader inspired by the bulletproof vest scene from Criminal Minds? Maybe it's early in their relationship and they're fussing after hearing he's been shot. Maybe with an annoyed Damian breaking up their flirting?
(Here is the scene if you don't know what I'm talking about!! youtube.com/watch?v=C2bjYavXWec)
Haha this was such a fun prompt! Thanks for sending đ©· I love prompts inspired by tv scenes
jason todd x gn!reader. minor injury, fluff, suggestive/implied nsfw, making out, implied timkon
****
Jason opens the door, looking extra comfy in his GU sweatpants and a Wonder Woman t-shirt. His curls stick up in fifteen different directions, making him look like an overgrown chick.
You'd coo if your heart hadn't been in your stomach all night.
"Hey, baâ"
You launch yourself at him, wrapping your arms around his neck. The force of your embrace makes Jason stumble back a step. You suddenly remember his injury and reel back.
"Baby, what's goin' on?" His eyes are wide. Jason holds onto you, inspecting you right back.
"I'm so sorry!" you say, hands fluttering over his body. "Oh God, did I reopen stitches? Fuck, fuckâ"
"Sweetheart." Jason places both hands on your shoulders and guides you away from the door. He kicks it shut with his foot. You both settle on the couch. "What're you talking about? Are you okay?"
"Am I okay?" You sit up. Jason rests his head on the back of the couch, watching you. "God, Jason, you got shot! I heard you caught fire this morning so I got here as quickly as I could. Did I reopen stitches? Be honest because I swear to God, Jay, if you lie to me about that..."
"Honey. Oh my love. Y'know I'm crazy about ya?" Jason holds your face with both hands and squishes your cheeks. He's smiling. "I got shot in my bulletproof vest. No stitches required. Who told you I got shot?"
You take his hands and hold them to your chest. "Well, I was listening to the comms 'cause I can't sleep when you have overnight missions andâ"
"You haven't slept all night?" Jason frowns. "Baby, you need to sleep."
You scoff. "None of that matters, Jay. What I'm hearing is that you still got shot!"
"'S not a big deal, honest. Just a few bruises. Leslie wrapped me up, see?"
Jason lifts his shirt. His ribs are wrapped in an ACE bandage. You feel around for a secret wound.
"No blood?" you ask, poking at the edges.
Jason laughs and catches your hand. He kisses your knuckles. "No, sweetness. No blood. 'S just a little sore." He lets his shirt fall. You're only a little disappointed by the loss of his bare skin.
"Why would Bruce send you out in a bulletproof vest? Of all the stupidâusually you wear your armor! That's actually bulletproof! Vests are bullet-resistant. That's like saying Gotham rats are toxin-proof. Just because they don't die from the Joker gas anymore doesn't mean they aren't higher than kites when it happens."
Jason kisses your cheek. It turns your insides ooey-gooey. He's always so warm, so solid.
"Mm. I'll call Merriam-Webster tomorrow and relate your beef with 'em. And to answer your question, I was undercover, so no armor. But I am fine. Okay?"
"I'll be the judge of that, mister."
You hike his shirt up to his neck and pat down his chest. Jason honest-to-God giggles, which only encourages you. You pinch the soft skin under his biceps, then kiss down his sternum. He squirms, sliding so he's lying on the couch.
"Tickles," Jason says, letting you love on him.
"Excuse me, sir, I'm trying to conduct a very serious medical examination," you say, biting your lip to keep from laughing. "I think I'll need a closer look at these."
You kiss Jason's right pectoral, and his face flushes pink like it always does because you know how sensitive he is there and how his sensitivity makes him shy. Your mouth grazes his nipple and a tiny grunt pushes out of his throat.
"'M just a piece of meat to you, huh?" He catches you with a hand on your hip.
You smile and nip his neck, careful of his bandage. Jason's breath hitches.
"Please, baby, show mercy. Want me to get on my knees an' beg? I will."
"Sir, that is highly unprofessional language for this procedure. I'm afraid I'll have to give you an oral exam to see what's causing that filthy mouth of yours."
"Yeah, I'll show you filthy," Jason murmurs, cupping the back of your head. "Let's see how filthy y'get when Iâ"
"Oh my God, stop."
"Todd!"
You freeze with Jason's mouth on your neck and your shirt rucked up. Tim and Damian are at the edge of the living room. Tim looks nauseous. Damian's mouth is shriveled like a prune.
You scramble off of Jason, mortified, and smooth down your shirt. Jason leisurely turns his head, still holding onto you. He sighs.
"What d'you brats want?"
"To erase the last sixty seconds from my brain," Tim says.
Jason grins, all teeth. "That can be arranged."
You roll your eyes. "We're sorry, guys. Did you need Jason?"
"Yes. Father wants you back at the Cave immediately for debrief," Damian says, glancing at Jason's exposed bandages with tangible disgust.
You tug down Jason's shirt. His mouth quirks briefly before he registers his brother's request.
"Oh, hell to the fucking no. I got back two hours ago. Tell him to fuck off."
"I think you tell him enough for all of us," Tim says. "It's just a debrief. Babs started timing him and he's been good about keeping them short."
"He can email me. I'm not going to the Cave for a damn debrief."
Tim squints at Jason, then you. "I see. You know, you're awfully energetic for someone who should be recovering. Leslie benched Dick the last time he overexerted himself."
Jason raises an eyebrow. "I wouldn't be speaking about exertion after what you and Connor did at the Kents' fourth of July picnic last year, Timbelina."
Tim somehow turns more pale. Damian whips his head around.
"Drake? What is he talking about?"
"Nothing. C'mon, Damian, let's go. Jason can debrief later."
He hauls a protesting Damian out the fire escape. Jason waves after them.
"Uh-huh, take care now, bye-bye! Close the window on your way out!"
The window slams shut. You look at Jason, eyes wide.
"What...?"
He shrugs. "Brotherly blackmail. All in good spirit."
"I see. You really don't need to go? I can wait."
"Nah. Bruce can wait. I have a very important injury that needs tending to."
You roll your eyes, smiling. "Uh-huh. Are you sure you're okay?"
Jason kisses you. "Positive," he says against your mouth. "This is nothing. But I appreciate you worrying about little ol' me."
"I'll always worry about you, Jay."
He ducks his head and nudges your neck like a cat. "I know, baby. 'S why I'm the luckiest guy in the whole wide world."
Hello, how are you? I hope I don't bother you, can I ask for jason+reader freaking out about a book?
Reading Session
Jason Todd x Reader

wc: 0.6 K summary: Jason finds his favourite book at your place and freaks out warnings: none, fluff, no y/n used a/n: this is such a cute idea, thanks for the request!!! i',#m so sorry about this being so short though, hope you'll still enjoy it anywayđđ

Jason and you are both huge bookworms. It wasnât a surprise anymore when you recommended a book to him but he already read it. The same goes the other way, though. Both of your apartments are filled with random books in almost every corner, multiple stacks that are messily organised. It brings a more domestic feeling for Jason and he actually loves the way it looks like. Itâs strangly comforting, having some of the books from your collection resting in his room, a constant reminder that you are in his life.
Even now as he is laying peacefully in your bed, just reading through some random book to pass time, it feels just right. While you are taking a shower after having been on a long walk with him, Jason gives up on reading the amateur written book and places it away, turning to the big stacks of books by your bedside. He reads through a few titles on the backs of them, his eyes skimming through it quickly until he pauses.
Whatâs his favourite book doing here? Did you steal it? No⊠is he just finding out about this? Youâve been together for several months, been friends before that a few years, why does he only know now? This is insane.
When you walk out of the bathroom, Jason is already sitting up in your bed and keeps his eyes on the stack of books. Deciding not to adress it for now, you continue with your routine before slipping into bed with him.
»Have you read this book?«
He holds his favourite in his hand, looking at you while you apply a cream onto your face. You glance behind your shoulder, scanning the cover briefly.
»Yeah, some time ago. Itâs really good, you should also read it.«
You answer back with a small nod and go back to taking care of yourself, already assuming he read it before and doesnât think itâs a masterpiece.
But no, he stands up, just to stand behind you and keeps his eyes on the book for now.
»You know, thatâs my favourite.«
He casually drops, expecting nothing much in return. Your action pauses and you ignore every other step you have left in your routine. With a quick turn in your chair, you face him. Jason pays attention to you again but keeps the book in his hands.
»No way.« You stand up now, cream still not fully rubbed in on your cheek. Jason tilts his head, confused because of your reaction.
»Itâs also my favourite! When were you going to tell me about this?« Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room spikes up, your excited energy bringing a small smile to his face. He places the book down at the table, shrugging his shoulders.
»Oh, I donât know. When were you going to tell me, huh? I saw this book just now, how long has this been here?«
The taller man crosses his arms as if he is actually scolding you about it, his tone playful.
You both end up talking and rambling to each other about specific parts and plot points made in the book, also talking about the the way it was written. You show him the notes and annotations you put into each page, seeing his eyes light up and perk up as he skims through it.
The evening draws out late into the night, just talking and basically fangirling over some silly words that happen to be your favourites.
Laying together in bed, having his head laying over your stomach as he listens intently to you and also shares some thoughts with you. Hand craddling and playing with his hair, you end up doying off together on each other, the book resting somewhere in the bed too.

SUMMARY âł Jason Todd loves nothing more than the sight of you with a book. The book's tension builds, your fingers gripping the pages a little tighter as the protagonist faces a crucial moment. You barely register the sound of the water shutting off or Jason stepping out of the bathroom. He stands in the doorway, towel slung low around his waist, shaking his head with an amused smirk. He slowly takes steps toward you, right up until his knees hit the mattress. He leans down, his arms coming to cage you. Finally, you really take notice of him. âHi, Jay.â pairing: jason todd x fem!reader warnings: smut tags/notes: oral sex (fem receiving), domestic fluff, jason might be ooc sorry, lets just pretend its a less traumatized version of him wc: 2k

You think Jason has a thing for you and books.
You mean together, of course. Jason Toddâs affinity for literature is well known, and so is his affection for you. But you can see the way his lips curl up when he sees you curled up on the couch reading, wrapped in his favorite blanket.
The soft glow of the lamp casts a warm light over the room, highlighting the way Jason leans against the doorframe, his arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips. Heâs always been drawn to those quiet moments, watching you lose yourself in a world of words.
âIs that another tragic romance?â he teases, stepping further into the room. You glance up, catching his playful gaze.
âNot as tragic as your face.â
âOuch,â he groans dramatically, clutching his chest. He falls onto you, plopping his full body weight and nearly crushing you. He buries his face in your neck and presses a chaste kiss there.
You huff and half-heartedly shove him away. âYouâll make me lose my place!â
âThatâs why you should use those bookmarks I got you, honey.â He lifts his head, eyes sparkling with mischief. â
You roll your eyes but canât help the smile tugging at your lips. âBookmarks are for amateurs, Jay.â You gesture to the stack of books on the coffee table, a mixture of dog-eared pages and hastily folded corners.
He grimaces at the sight. âI should break up with you.â
âWho would read to you, then?â
He narrows his eyes at you. âTouchĂ©.â He presses a quick kiss to your lips and shifts so as to pull you into leaning on him. He wraps the blanket around both of you, plucking the book out of your hands in spite of your protests. âCanât let you ruin this anymore. Lemme read to you, hm?â
You rest your head on his shoulder. âYou canât do it justice.â
âIâve got the voice of a poet,â he retorts, arm wrapping around you. His voice is low, intimate and for your ears only. You move to rest on his chest so you can feel the way his chest rumbles as he speaks.
As he reads, you let your eyes drift shut, the sound of his voice becoming a soothing backdrop. Jason leans his down, pressing a light kiss on your head and effectively muffling his voice. Each word he reads intertwines with his heartbeat, spinning a cocoon of intimacy that cradles the both of you.
You notice the way he plops a bookmark on the page you were on just before you fall asleep.

âYouâre killing me, honey,â Jason groans over the phone.
The smell of a home-cooked meal fills your apartment as you shoulder your phone. âCome home, then,â you chuckle.
âI swear I can smell it through the phone. Whyâre you always cooking something good when Iâm away, huh?â
You move to grab a pan. âWell, maybe you shouldnât be away so much.â
âGotta do my job, honey,â he sighs. âTo keep my beautiful girlfriend safe so she can continue to spoil me with her delicious cooking.â
You laugh, stirring the simmering sauce. âItâs just pasta, Jay.â
âYeah, but itâs your pasta. That makes it gourmet.â
You canât help but smile at his praise. âDork. Iâll save you a plate. Just donât take too long, or I might eat it all.â
âDonât you dare!â His voice rises in mock horror. âIâll be home soon, I promise. Just a couple more things to wrap up. You got dessert for me?â
You scoff playfully. âPick it up yourself. Iâve got a book to finish.â
âYes, maâam,â he drawls, then his tone softens. âIâll get you your favorite. Only the best for my girl.â
You exchange sweet goodbyes before hanging up, the warmth of Jasonâs words lingers in the air, wrapping around you like the blanket he often claims. You focus on the pasta simmering on the stove, the fragrant aroma filling the kitchen. Your mind drifts to Jason, as it does a lot, and you canât keep the stupid grin of your face as you finish cooking.
After plating the pasta, you set the table, stealing glances at the clock as you wait for him to come home. You flip through the book, and allow yourself to get lost in the words. The minutes stretch, the kitchen filled with nothing but your muttered words as you read. Youâre just about to take a distracted bite of your food when thereâs knocks on the door, the specific pattern Jason went over with you.
Jason steps in, Red Hood helmets already off and perched under his arm, a bag carried by his other. You perk up, unable to suppress the smile that spreads across your face. He steps in, shaking off the remnants of his day, and his eyes light up at the sight of the table set for two. âYouâre making me fall in love with you all over again, you know that?â
You laugh, stepping forward to meet him in a kiss. âHi.â
âHi,â he greets back one you separate. He places the bag on the table, the logo of your favorite sweets brand greeting you. âAs promised.â
âYou spoil me,â you hum happily, parroting his earlier words. âEverything go okay?â
Jason nods, pulling out your chair for you before taking his own seat. He grabs his fork with an eager shine in his eye that makes you snort. If thereâs one thing youâve learned about Jason, itâs that he loves to eat.
âUsual stuff.â He keeps it brief, for your sake. He doesnât like you to hear about the stuff he deals with on patrol, once said, âpretty things like you shouldnât worry about things like that.â Flattering, but itâs whatever.
âDickhead mentioned this new bakery that opened up, though you might like it,â he mumbles, voice obscured by his chewing.
You smile. âSure, let's make it a date.â
Jason goes on to mention little things about his day, and you do listen⊠at first. You love hearing Jason talk, and you love hearing about his day but⊠you also really wanna finish this book. It starts as subtle glances to the open pages. Then, it goes to skim reading while nodding along to his words. Now, youâre full on reading and have tuned him out. Whoops.
Jason pauses mid-sentence, a playful glint in his eye as he watches you. âBaby.â
âHm?â
âAre you even listening to me?â he asks, smirking.
You look up, feigning innocence. âOf course. You just mentioned the arcade you went to with Roy.â
He raises a brow and you know he doesnât believe you. Damn detective skills. If he feels any type of way because of it he lets it go and continues talking. This time you do better to try and pay attention, but when he leaves to go to the bathroom your eyes wander right back onto the pages.
âYouâre killing me again, honey.â Shit, he came back fast. To his credit he doesnât look annoyed, just fond. Still, you feel guilty.
âIâm sorry! Iâm sorry,â you groan, shutting the book and throwing it across the room. Miraculously, it lands on the couch.
Jason raises a brow. âNice throw.â
âJay,â you whine. He snorts and comes around you, laying a hand comfortingly on your shoulder. âItâs so good. Youâll love it when I finish.â
âIâm not mad, honey.â He leans down and presses a kiss against your forehead, whispering, âBesides, I think itâs hot.â
You blink, watching him sit back down as if he said nothing at all. Well, thatâs probably all youâre going to get out of him about it.

You are one of the many people guilty of not knowing when to put down a good read.
In your defense, however, itâs not bedtime yet. Bedtime is whenever you and Jason are in bed, and he still has to shower. Until then, youâre content to let him take his time, as youâre completely taken by your book. The gentle hum of the water running in the background almost becomes white noise to the whirlwind of words in your head.
Finally, you really take notice of him. âHi, Jay.â
âHi, honey.â His eyes sparkle with amusement as he takes you in. He smooches your cheek before his hands come to grasp at your hips, pulling you to sit at the edge of the bed. You donât break your focus from your book (if weâre being honest, youâre kind of used to itâŠ)
He knees at your shared bed and spreads your legs. You donât pay too much mind, even when the feeling of your underwear sliding down your legs sends a familiar shiver down your spine. It is only when a hot wet feel slides against your core that youâre snapped back into reality.
Your body reacts instinctively, squeezing your thighs around Jasonâs head. âJay!â you yelp.
He responds with a hum that sends a buzz through your body. His hands massage your skin as he kisses around your thighs. Your heartbeat picks up and your chest starts to heave. Your fingers tremble around the pages.
A hand leaves your pressure book to grip Jasonâs hair. Your hips begin to rock against his face. Your breathing becomes more labored. His thumb begins to swirl your clit, stimulating you to your very core. The room around you fades away, leaving only the rising tension in your body.Â
Jason's hands move up your thighs, his fingers digging gently into your skin as he holds you in place. His tongue darts in and out, teasing you with gentle licks and soft kisses. You moan, your head falling back against the bed as you give in to the pleasure.
Suddenly, the book slips from your fingers, falling to the floor with a soft thud. You don't even notice, too caught up in the sensations coursing through your body. Jasonâs hands pull you impossibly closer, caught up in your pleasure.
"Jason," you moan, voice laced with desire.
It seems that your voice sets him off, because his tongue starts moving faster along with his fingers to bring you to your peak. Your body trembles, and your hips rock against his face, seeking more of the pleasure he's giving you. Your toes curl, back arching against the bed as your moans get louder and louder.
White fills your vision, mouth falling open as a final whine leaves your lips. You take deep breaths as you come down from your high, thighs twitching. Jasonâs eyes meet yours, slowly rising from his knees to meet you. His lips brush against yours in a gentle manner. You feel yourself melt once again, your body aligning itself with him.
âGood?â he mumbles against your lips.
âGood,â you affirm, breathing him in.
âGood,â he nods, breaking away from the kiss, before meeting you back for more. You smile against him as the two of you exchange chaste kisses. Your legs fall open to welcome him closer. You whimper at the feel of his bulge against you.
âJay,â you moan, grinding against him.
You feel his smirk. âYeah?â
âPleaseâŠâ Heâs only wearing a towel, all you have to do is hook a finger around it and pullâŠ
Youâve never felt such disappointment like when he pulls away from you, tightening the towel. He bends down, picking up your forgotten book, and strolling out of the room.
âWh- Jay!â
âYou said Iâd like it, might as well start now. Who knows when youâll put this thing down again,â he calls from the hallway.
âJason!â
âThis is payback!â

notes: kinda hate this but what can ya do đ„
Gorgeous (Jason Todd x reader)

A/N: Wrote this, forgot to post:( Decided to make something where Jason gets praised by the reader for a change. This made me so soft (Μ) Anyways, as always, enjoy!
Genre: Fluff, hurt/comfort, angst
Word count: 1,446
Summary: Reader comforts Jason after an insult gets to him.
âââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Police sirens and gunshots rang from outdoors, drifting in through the window you had long forgotten to close. Heaving out a sigh, you shifted in your seat, opting on resting from the book you were reading. For the past hour you had been sitting with your legs crossed, on the couch.
Jason sat across from you, legs spread apart, all his attention directed on the desk in which he had placed a few of his gadgets on. He had just arrived a few minutes ago, murmuring something about wanting to be alone and clean his guns as they had been long overdo.
You allowed him to do his own thing, worried you might set him off if you didnât let him deal with his emotions. Although you wanted to help and comfort him, you knew it would be no use. Not with what had occurred earlier in the week.
The cold and distant behavior your boyfriend displayed, all happened because of what a woman called him.
A monster.
Typically, Jason wasnât one to ever care about what anyone thought of him, but, what she said really got to him, especially because the two children she had with her began spewing similar insults after watching him kill the man who had been previously robbing her.
After you found out, you rushed to his side, offering any form of comfort you could muster, but, in the end, all he told you was that heâd be fine and that he just wanted time to himself.
And so, you left him to it.
But now, you regretted it.
Sitting up, you frowned, perching an elbow on the armrest before sadly leaning your chin down on your palm. Closing your eyes for a brief second, you opened them back up to find your attractive boyfriend directly in your line of sight. From there on, you couldnât help but watch him and smile unconsciously at the small stray hairs that tumbled over his dark, full brows,
âI can feel you staring at meâ, he spoke absent mindedly, voice husky from having not been used in the past hour. Although he was clearly talking to you, he never shot you a glance, keeping his pointed gaze down as he never ceased on his actions of reloading bullets into his guns. You unconsciously blushed at the notion of being caught before releasing a weak chuckle. Even after being detected, you continued eyeing your attractive boyfriend, noting the way his eyebrows furrowed in concentration,
âCanât I quietly admire my handsome boyfriend?â, Jason snorted at that, shaking his head in denial. Walking over to him, you placed a gentle hand on his tense arm, emotions stable with comfort and caution, âJayâ, you began, smoothing your way over to him, âI know youâre busy right now, but, can you please spare a little break with me? We need to talk. You canât just brush off what happened like itâs nothing. I want to help you.â
He took a moment, cleaning off the last smudge on his gun before heaving out a sigh in what felt like submission,
âFineâ, he grunted, voice low and wavery than previously noted. Just as he stood up from his seat, you grabbed his hand, Interwinging your fingers in a loving fashion. Raven hair smothered over his eyes as he tilted his head, almost as if to avoid looking up at you. Your heart dropped at the sight. Not only because he was clearly upset, but, he didnât want you to notice. Even so, you tugged Jason over to your shared bed before crawling over to the center and getting accustomed first,
âCâmereâ , you patted the space beside you on the mattress, ready to embrace that big bulky figure you so much adored. He gave another hefty sigh before complying, interest etching onto his face as you turned over on top of him, laying down just enough for your chin to touch his chest and your hands to cup his face. His hands hesitatably hovered over your torso before gently closing in and brushing over the dip of your waist and trailing to your hips. You gave him a beautiful smile, eyes twinkling when they met with his. For a split moment, you stayed that way, content in each otherâs embrace,
âYouâre handsomeâ, you whispered, eyes tracing over the little freckles he had here and there. âTrust me, I knowâ, he mumbled, a void of humor present in his voice. Automatically your smile dimmed to a grim line. You wouldâve beamed at that, had it not been for the fact that he really seemed not to believe in your words or even be into the conversation, âNo Jason,â you grabbed his chin firmly, directing his eyes onto yours,
âIm serious. Youâre so handsome, my loveâ, you kissed his lips, fingers gently whisping over his lightly tanned, scarred cheeks and freshly shaved jaw, âYour eyes are so beautiful, babeâ, you bopped his nose gently, chuckling at the way his icy blue eyes slightly crinkled in distain as he furrowed his brows before looking down in admiration and longing,
âWho you are, is also so beautifulâ, as soon as you confirmed those words, he pulled out of your hands, turning his head to face away from your loving embrace,
âYou really think so huh?â You narrowed your eyes, lips twisting in a sad frown,
âHell yea, why would I not?â,
âBecause Iâm a flawed, (y/n). Iâm a fuckin monster.â
His voice cracked as he looked down at you, his watery eyes crimson rimmed with a spark of a broken boy within. Your heart instantly snapped in half, true blue taking over your emotions. Not only was it upsetting to hear him say something like that but, it was infuriating that someone would even cause something like that to cross his mind,
âJasonâ, you cooed, voice full of emotion,
âJason, look at meâ, grabbing his chin, you forced him into your line of sight, fingers slightly brushing over the slight stubble of his jaw, âYouâre not a monster babyâ, he stared at you for a second, a faint glow lighting his eyes as you continued,
âNot to me. Not to anyone you know.â
He sighed deeply, shaking his head in distain as his eyes continued to water,
âNo, (Y/n). That woman was right. And the kids, what they said,-â
âWhat they said, was nothing but bullshit.â, you cutted in with words so firmly, Jason failed to bat an eye at how serious you grew. Letting out a soft breath, you curled into the crook of his neck, hands gradually trailing over his chest,
âThey judged you on one simple action, but they donât understand at all.â you closed your eyes, feeling his fast breaths gradually lessen as he calmed down,
âThey were focusing on the fact that you shot someone rather than focusing on the fact that you did it just to save them. And under that exact circumstance, they had no right to say that to you when they donât know you and they donât know how capable you are of amazing, wonderful things.â Turning in his embrace, you braced yourself with your arms, leaning up to place a soft kiss on his forehead,
âYouâre no monster to me, Jason. Youâre a hero. And even if you were one, It would never change the way I feel for you. So donât you dare think for a second youâre not amazing because you are, okay?â, you reassured gently, placing another kiss on the crook of his neck. He nodded weakly, giving you another shy look when you spoke up,
âYouâre flawed. But to me, that makes you perfect.â
Just before he could open his mouth and reply, you moved down to his torso, lips teasing and hovering over the crook of his neck before delving down to nip at the sweet spot. You automatically earned a husky groan from the action, forcing a smile up on your face as you moved lower and lower, continuously pecking the scars and bruises across his muscular chest, âYouâre gorgeousâ You moved down to his waist, hands trailing over the hard prominent abs on his strong abdomen, âI donât want you to think for a second that youâre notâ, pausing at his lower torso, you leaned down, wrapping your arms around his waist as you nuzzled your head on his tummy, legs intertwining with his own, âalways remember thatâ, Jason sighed softly, absentmindedly nodding his head as a smile gradually etched onto his face, âIâll try. Iâll try my best.â He looked down at you, beaming when he noticed the sweet look you sent him,
âThank you, dollâ
physical affection w/ red hood rules | m.list
note. hello there! this one is to heal my own heart tbh because I read too much angst with my boy and I need him to be happy :( pleased don't hesitate to request <3

Jason Todd had never been known for being the most gentle and sweet person on Earth. Actually, most of the people who knew him would say that he was a freaky killing machine. When, in fact, he simply had some problems expressing himself correctly. He would die to be close to someone freely, but he was too scared for that. Scared of everything if he let anyone enter his life. Until you arrived.Â
You were some fresh air in his life, a soft wind helping him to finally breathe again. He was still scared, obviously, but you were making things easier. He felt like he could let his guard down when he was with you, and he never thought he would learn how to do that in his life.Â
You were watching TV in silence, Jason sitting right next to you in your apartment. He was obviously more looking at you than at what was playing on the screen, observing your figure like he was trying to learn it by heart. In a gentle move, he grabbed your hand in his. You looked at him, and you heard his voice going out softly while looking at your hand.Â
âYour hands are so small. Look,â he said, putting your palm against his to compare the size of your hands. It made you smile ever so softly, and when you were about to say something, you saw his fingers getting interlocked with yours. With that, he simply held your hand before resting his head against your shoulder. You restrained that sweet laugh that almost escaped you before looking back at the TV, your grip on his hand slightly tightening.Â
One of the things Jason used to do a lot was pretexting that he wanted you to be safe so he could get some physical affection from you. You were about to cross the road after looking at each side of it when you felt a hand grabbing yours. You glanced at your boyfriend who slowly shrugged your shoulders and said âJust to be safeâ. And for sure you would be safe with Red Hood himself around you.Â
Grabbing your hand wasnât the only thing he would do though. Jason loved your hair, even if he didnât exactly know why. It was just so soft and playing with it was probably the best thing he ever did to calm himself. You were peacefully doing your skincare that night, hair down while applying your face mask, when Jason arrived from behind you. His fingers slowly passed through the end of your hair and you looked at him through the mirror.Â
âWant to help me? I need to brush them.â You told him and the boy looked up at you the second after. He slowly nodded and you grabbed your hair brush to give it to him. You both left the bathroom so you could sit on the bed, him being right behind you. His movements were so slow, so gentle. You were the only one who had the chance to see him like that, and you would never be glad enough for that.Â
But he wasnât the only one to seek this affection, of course. First, you would never say no to him if he wanted you to cuddle him in a way or another. But you were also never missing a chance to cling onto him when you were in public spaces. Not only because you wanted people to know that the man was with you, but also because you didnât like to be surrounded by a crowd too dense.Â
Jason was your safe place, and you slowly realized that you were also his. It was working well, especially because you could tell that he was doing more effort than he ever did. He really wanted to trust you, even if it was complicated for him at some point. Trusting issues were an obvious thing, but he was working on it.Â
He loved you more than anything else, and he would do everything to make it work.
