He/It pronouns🏳️⚧️, Aro/Ace, ADHD mess, and my friends call me "Wattie"...Unfortunately. I'm a Sherlock Holmes obsessed writer and amateur detective from the UK🏴 that wishes he could dress like a Victorian gentleman. My favourite insects are the Snowberry Clearwing Moth and the Stag Beetle. I just use this space to talk about my hyperfixation and fanfic ideas.Profile picture made by @holmosexualitea

Now I'm Just Imagining Watson Snatching Away Holmes' Syringe And Giving Him A Coca-cola Instead To Try
Now I'm just imagining Watson snatching away Holmes' syringe and giving him a coca-cola instead to try and prevent him from using too much of the stuff, and it just looking like a Mum giving her fussy baby a bottle.
So you’re telling me Sherlock Holmes could have enjoyed a refreshing coca-cola

If I may also add to the hair one, I've always headcanoned Sherlock to have a prominent widow's peak hairline. This is partially inspired by Jeremy Brett's portrayal of him in later episodes, but I haven't stopped imagining Sherlock with it since. As for Watson, when reading the original stories when I was younger, I always imagined him having strawberry blonde hair that got increasingly white overtime.
My list of Sherlock headcannons:
- Sherlock is definitely the little spoon
- Sherlock sneezes those shy, high pitched sneezes and Watson is in absolute awe the first time he sees it (everyone is startled when they first hear it)
- Watson sneeze is abrupt and loud (just like mine lol)
- Watson cuts Sherlock's hair (this one came from @contact-guy ) so whenever they go long without seeing each other his hair goes out of shape
- Idk I think Sherlock is a big ear guy?? No explanations for this one just ✨vibes✨
Watson spending decades trying to define the limitations of the unknowable Sherlock Holmes, versus Holmes being fascinated by the undefinable limitations of the seemingly ordinary Dr. Watson, is a concept I can be trusted with
Guess what? That "historical kick" hasn't ended. Infact, it has gotten worse. I have been introduced to the world of Victorian era bare-knuckle boxing, also called prize fighting, and I can't stop imagining Watson finding Holmes in one of the illegal fights. Considering the hints to Watson being interested in gambling and placing bets at one point or another and Holmes shaving a decent talent in boxing in ACD canon, I am now also imagining a possible fanfic where Watson goes to one of these underground fights one night and finds Holmes there...Oh, someone stop me, please, I already have enough unfinished stories in my drafts.
So, I've been a bit of a historical kick again in doing research for a Johnlock fanfic I'm considering writing...And I now can't stop thinking of Watson secretly working as a Resurrectionist. Honestly, I'm just imagining he and Holmes meeting in a graveyard by accident one night because Holmes is investigating a case and Watson is illegally digging up a corpse, and it's the most adorably awkward thing.
@contact-guy Here you go, one order of Watson being allowed to swear coming right up!
Does Watson ever swear in canon? I know Holmes says “what the deuce” and other things but does my #1 man ever go off?
I just had a not-so-fun thought. Since Sherlock & Co. is aware that it's a podcast and occasionally references real word events that are currently happening or have recently happened...Do you think the creators will stop releasing episodes of the podcast for two or three years after the Reichenbach Fall to create a consistent and realistic timeline of Sherlock's faked death and John and Mariana mourning? Or do you think they'll shorten the time of Sherlock's absence to merely a few months of playing dead for the audience if they go down this route? Maybe after Sherlock "dies" we'll just get a few sad episodes of John venting to us about missing Sherlock. Whatever happens, I'm both looking forward to and fearing how they will handle this part of the story!
