I will never agree with ppl who find Aiden an annoying protagonist. Victor-sixty is a super compelling character and the fact that he talks less bothers me. I want to know more about this guy he's so fuckign cool.

It took me a repeat playthrough for the alternate ending to realize that he tells the girl sitting at the start to 'stop whining' because of his regret. I'm not sure if the lady on the couch is a sibling, lover, or someone else-- but the fact that he is more then willing to go on a fucking RAMPAGE because of her memory is fucking insane to me. The sudden betrayal of the metrocops for the rebel ending is such a sudden violent visceral experience because you've learned to regard these guys as more then just faceless goons. You've saved their lives, they've saved yours. I loved bloody cops character, and after spending so much time with them during the canon ending seeing them so suddenly shot dead is WILD. I was even copying the cutscene's actions because I was trying to shoot him myself. There is something about looking at a friend and remembering what they've done to someone you care about and fucking turning on them and everyone else in the room and going on to do even more that put me in a trance that I cannot possibly describe.

The entire rebel ending was great, honestly. I love the fact that Victor goes into BEAST MODE so hard that it attracts the attention of the metrocop leader and you get to side with her. It feels just like meeting bloody cop and 28, and the best part is that the way 28's capture is set up so that he can flip flop to either side depending on the route is phenomenal. I love that you and rebel metrocops and rebels get to take on combine soldiers and striders in place of the rebel metrocops you'd fight in a normal run. I love that the rebel lady is actually really nice when she isn't shooting you in the back in the normal ending. I love that in place of that scene is Victor basically hallucinating her ghost and going fucking crazy. I love the lighting. I lo-

It is 1am as i am writing this and I am gushing too much. PLAY UPRISING. IT IS GOOD

I'm not sure where I saw it, but I know I saw it somewhere and it was an absolutely genius breakdown of Uprising's narratives. You can forget and move on, but if you don't, you remember, and are stuck in the past. Victor won't even leave city 17.

We need more true silent protagonists. Link and Frisk respond to people with their voice in game, they don't count. If I'm correct Red is a silent character, but not a silent protagonist. Gordon Freeman and Chell are two true silent protagonists, even if they might have the ability to talk (Chell canonically does) they don't ever let their voice be heard, even if it might be beneficial to do so. Other people in game comment on their silence. Give us more characters like them.
