Just Wanted To Say

Just wanted to say

for being a member of an aggressively militarized, evil, bug-like, cyborg alien race that is completely incapable of natural reproduction,

Just Wanted To Say

Zim is bizarrely…

Just Wanted To Say
Just Wanted To Say
Just Wanted To Say

And I mean weirdly…

Just Wanted To Say

Paternal.

Just Wanted To Say

Like, there is only one dynamic/circumstance in which I’ve ever seen a softer side of him or a shred of empathy for another creature rear its head and it’s consistent across the show, movie, and comics.

Just Wanted To Say

Now, I’m not saying this lunatic maybe desperately needs a spare smeet or similar thrown his way yesterday ago,

Just Wanted To Say

But I’m also not not saying that.

Omg I’m still not he biggest fan in the world of honeydew, kinda of a mild flavor to my sweet tooth, but I did notice that it REALLY (I mean really) makes a difference when you find some at a decent level of ripeness.

I do love cantaloupe and it’s the same deal. The pre packed stuff is a dice roll on quality and it doesn’t keep for crap. I bought a pack once and the fruit was literally already fermenting to the point where it just tasted like nail polish remover.

Seriously, try the whole melons. It’s easy to learn how to slice them and you’re only saving like 4 minutes and wasting money to buy pre-cut.

I will also add the most of the hate behind these two melons has very little to do with the melons themselves and more to do with the fact that they’re kind of like the mainstream generic pop tunes of melons. I’m talking about the fact that you can barely get a fruit cup anywhere that’s not filled with at least 60% one or both of these fruits (and never at a good ripeness). They’re in-expensiveness just happen to make them a very popular choice for bulking out fruit salads and it ended up making a lot of people view them as the low quality filler of produce.

That said, if y’all do happen to like either of them, I know of two recommendations you may not have heard of! Especially since it’s still a good part of the season to go looking for some of them-

• Sugar Kiss (I have tried this)

Omg Im Still Not He Biggest Fan In The World Of Honeydew, Kinda Of A Mild Flavor To My Sweet Tooth, But

At the top because it’s my favorite. These smell really good and they taste even better. Very comparable to Cantelope, but much sweeter. Smoother too- like, melts in your mouth smooth. Looks most like cantaloupe too. Only downside is they make your fingers/counter kinda sticky if you’re not careful slicing and eating the insides. As far as I know they’ve been specially bred for years from a hami melon hybrid. You’re really missing out if you don’t try these at least once in your life.

Available in the summer through fall.

• Summer’s Kiss (I have tried this)

Omg Im Still Not He Biggest Fan In The World Of Honeydew, Kinda Of A Mild Flavor To My Sweet Tooth, But

These are pretty neat, also a hami melon hybrid. It kind of feels and almost tastes like the halfway point on a sliding scale between cantaloupe and honeydew. Not my favorite in the world, but I do like it better than a regular honeydew. It’s kind of refreshing! and might go better in a fruit bowl than by itself. Mellow taste, good texture. Thinner rind and greenish flesh that looks a lot like honeydew.

Season is ditto for the former

this is such a nothing pet peeve but listen if you’ve only ever had precut packaged chunks of honeydew melon you have no right to insist that honeydew sucks. get a full ripe melon and then we can talk

Okay so this is not even a critique or much of a commentary but it’s just acknowledging some Sly Cooper… design choices that keep bouncing around in my head rent free

Like I’ve never seen anyone talk about some of this

- the boldness of making a full 1/3rd of the enemies to be encountered in Paris frog people

Okay So This Is Not Even A Critique Or Much Of A Commentary But Its Just Acknowledging Some Sly Cooper

- Speaking of Paris, apparently those flashlight guards kid me could only guess were some kind of scary cows have this entire time been warthogs.

- just always thought these cyclops squid guards from Relaigh’s level were interesting.

Okay So This Is Not Even A Critique Or Much Of A Commentary But Its Just Acknowledging Some Sly Cooper

- boldness part 2: Pigs have consistently been the animal of choice to represent the wider police force behind Carmelita, up until only the third game

- Between the bats, the pigeons, the parrots, and the vultures I need Sucker Punch to answer me straight whether or not all the avians are actually typically capable of flight or not. In-game play seems to suggest they do have some limited form of flight and may just be weighed down by personal objects. Clockwerk flies, sure, but he’s a massive jet boosted android. But wait, Arpeggio’s entire sad backstory is that he couldn’t fly, so that MUST mean the norm for birds in this world is fully flight-functional wings. The reason I’m BEGGING to know is so I can say if it’s canon or not that bird people in Sly Cooper can just take off at any moment by flapping their arms ala Bojack Horseman, because it would be hilarious

- sorry I’m actually not finished with the birds but seriously, are their wings functionally hands or not? Clockwerk has literally been seen to only grab things with his feet, the bats in the Contessa levels certainly don’t seem to get any manual dexterity out of theirs, but????

Okay! So that actually settles it- except in game vulture guards also… only ever… use their feet to handle those same crossbows.

I’ll try to tell the little hamster in my brain it should really stop asking questions about the birds at this point tbh
