"Asteropa Betelgeuse" Backstory

Asteropa left her hometown "Lyaria" to explore past her hometown. She comes from a lineage of knights but she decided to stray from that lineage. "A star's fate", is her clothing shop and she hopes to harness the power of the cosmos in the clothing she sews.

Every member of the Circle of the Stars has their own reason as to why they want to harness the cosmos, and hers is to create clothing that reflects the dreams and personalities of the people that wear them. She is a traveling tailor merchant and her customers tend to be a wide range of people. It's often hard for her to sell clothing outside of Tiefling communities and even when she tries, her clothing is often stolen or treated horrible by customers that try out her clothing.

She's found a few good customers outside of the Tiefling community and is eternally grateful for them but still is wary. She does do special commissions but depending on the request it often requires more energy and magic. She sells both non magic infused clothing and infused. She keeps her name hidden as a form of protection of any spells or curses thrown her way given that she's a Tiefling. “Vestera Rigel”, only her true friends and family will ever learn her name.

She doesn't easily trust the experiences that Tieflings face, despite this she longs for connection and if she can, she will reside in Tiefling towns where she knows she can rest easily. It's quite common for Tieflings to hide their own name but thankfully this isn't a well known fact outside the community. Asteropa spends her days traveling and looking among the stars and studying them.

She's a part of the Circle of the Stars and she feels deeply connected to the stars as do those in the circle and she uses her knowledge of the stars as some form of divine reading of not only her fate but the fate of others.

Hello! it’s been awhile since ive posted since i’ve been focused on school. This is my dnd character, Asteropa! They are a succubus and trifling and as for their class im not sure yet…debating on a Sorcerer, Druid or Bard.

She come from a family of knights and are well known because of that and Asteropa clothing shop! While their family are happy for them they are disappointed in her and will remind her of that. It didn’t take her long to leave her home town wanting to escape that disappointment but also so she can grow more as a designer!

They are now a traveling clothing merchant and taken a new name as “Vestera”, only her true friends will learn her name as they tend to keep to themself. She does get quite lonely during her travels and hopes to find a true group of friends rather then small talk from those who buy her clothing.
